Ilka acknowledging the Jake Gyllenhaal and Keanu Reeves comparisons completely caught me by surprise 😄. Also would be really cool if Jake Gyllenhaal played Alan in a live-action TV series.
I’m a really big fan of Alan Wake. I’ve been so inspired by the experience that next year I’m moving to Finland to study game development. 😅 I will work very hard so I can hopefully be a part of Alan Wake 3 or 4. Well, at least that’s my dream…
They ruined everything for me by the fact that this game is only digital version , and it's not available where I live , so I'll have to wait until they decide to change that fact 😢
for me if i had a chance i want to shake hands with every single one of the team behind alan wake 2 and thank them and congratulate them for making such an amazing and wholesome game massive massive respect for the cast they really put there heart on this one bravo i loved every minute of this i hope to play alan wake 3 soon im 28 now and i played alan wake 1 when i was around 16 year i wish they dont take 10 years i want it soon
I was originally really disappointed when they showed that it would be 2 characters and two separate narratives and now I'm so happy they did that. 1. Saga's story is extremely fun to play through. I'm actually enjoying her side almost more than Alan's. And 2.
The music and the sound effect in this game is one of the best, the music will give you hint that something is coming and the sound effect will let you scared while you play as Saga or Alan.... as young filmmaker i think this is one of my best games as horror mystery game
one thing i specifically love about AW2 is how in most of the game you can CHOOSE to switch between Saga and Alan’s POVs when you want to! in most games with multiple POVs or main characters (especially cinematic games) there is no way to choose how you want to pace out each character’s arch, or what sections you want to play at different times, and that can make you feel railroaded or maybe even bored if you’re just not in the mood for that specific vibe.
This is very early on the video but the line "it's a story you're not told, it's a story you play" resonated so much to me after finishing the game and remembering all my journeys with the multiple Remedy games. I feel like this is low key been my constant thing with their games even if sometimes the games don't feel the most bombastic over the top famous games of all time like GTA or something. There's an intimate quality to playing and experiencing it that's truly meaningful over time to me.
I really enjoyed this game overall. Got spooked several times and that paranoia they mention definitely got to me as well. Such a twisting story and I really enjoyed it. Tickled my brain in just the right way. The only thing I could've used more of was time with Wake. I enjoyed what we had, but after 13 years, of course I'm going to want more of him. :)
