BY FAR the greatest AC game, and one of the all time greatest video games PERIOD. A masterpiece. Look at the attention to detail as you walk thru the villages, the changing landscapes.... its brilliant. And Kassandra is the NUMBER ONE character in all of Assassins Creed. Easily the most interesting personality. Plus not being limited to the same boring weapons, the same boring hooded assassins robes, etc. sets Odyssey on a level high above the other games.
@@lanusax ok u can laugh but other rpg games don’t add the massive world element combined with the assassins creed mechanics of scaling over any building or cliff plus the perfect fighting mechanics gives it layers other games don’t have , it could legit be one of the best games ever made
I love all of the AC games, but this AC in particular hit different. It is the most authentic AC game I have ever played and by far the best one. I love it! Thank you guys so much! And now Greece is on my bucket list 😂❤
The amount of effort that went into making this game is just breathtaking! The game is so diverse and beautiful! The architecture! The quests! The music! The setting. Thank you Ubisoft team.
I'm scared because i still havent see the pary system in valhalla, and that's my favorite feature in the combat system of odyssey, compared to origins.
@@KevinRef i just started playing it a few days ago, when it came out I didn't have the money for it and I was still playing a bunch of other games during and after Valhalla released, so I didn't get around to it for awhile. But I saw it on sale for $35 on tbe PS store recently so I picked it up. I'm loving it so far, I feel like they made stealth even more viable than in Odyssey and Origins, and the combat is really fun once you level up and get some good skills, as well as finding books of knowledge and unlocking cool abilities. I really love this trilogy, even more than I loved all the original AC games, and I've been playing since the very first one
This is my best game of all time. Detail the edventures amazing epic. Hours n hours of exploring. What a great job they did thank you. Next japan 🗾 👍🇯🇵
This is hands-down my facorite game of all time, a masterpiece! I didnt epxpect to spend so much time on one game, but after 192 hours of gameplay I cant get enough of it! I dont understand why this game gets so much hate
Closed minds, thats why. Thats why it gets hate. So many AC fans whine about no parkour..... um.... (Im trying to think of an actual reason to hate on it.. 🤔) Truth is, it has all the elements of AC plus so much more. Ive never understood why some AC fans whine about it, but ultimately i dont care, im like you, i cant stop playing it, its my favorite game of all time
Neither. It's ancient Greece. Your a spartan and you get a ship to travel the WHOLE greek world. What else do you want? Idgaf if he doesn't have a hidden blade or wear a robe lol. This game is awesome. I just wish we had a shield. For aesthetic purposes
This is my favorite AC ny far. It has the ship combat similar to Black Flag, the combat and abilities are super fun, and unlike Black Flag you can actually explore everywhere on the map, not just specific places where you can dock your ship
@@kyle2kyletroii I'm not and I've been playing since the original entry, it was the very first game I got for my 360 I got for Christmas because I watched Jade Raymond's preview of the game on G4. Now piss off with your shitty attitude.
The Atlantis DLC was INSANE. I would love to know who worked on it, it was truly stunning. The themes that if something is too good to be true it probably is, leadership, like EVERYTHING.
I'm a few weeks into the game now and I love how vast the world feels. The music is gorgeous and ngl I listen to it when I'm not playing the game. The story was great as well. I might just do another playthrough and make a few different choices to see what the outcome is.
I just began playing this game 3 days ago. I'm very impressed and a little disappointed that I hadn't played it sooner. Thank you for your hard work. I look forward to playing Valhalla!
I picked it up about a year ago also, and was so disappointed that I hadn’t played it as soon as it came out. But it’s okay, because I snagged the gold edition for like $20
Odyssey is probably my favourite game as of now. So underrated. Giant open world but also has lots of interesting stories. Combat is fun, music and voice acting excellent. Good loot system, ship battles, conquest battles, lots of quests and a beautiful world aesthetically. Most say witcher 3, I like it but it's so gloomy and I get bored way quicker than Odyssey.
Best. Game. Ever. I just got back from spending 200+ hours in Ancient Greece thanks to Ubisoft. Exploring every magnificent building, the jaw dropping nature, the wonderful historical characters, the masterful Greek artwork, the captivating and powerful music--walking around with giants like Socrates, Pericles, and Hippocrates. If there was an Academy Award for Epic Masterpiece, this game deserves it. And the characters---oh, the characters. Such depth and humanity in those protagonists, internal conflicts, etc. I really felt like the character from HG Wells the Time Machine when I came back to reality, wishing to live in and stay in the game world created by the folks over at Ubisoft forever. And I probably could, because there is so much to do in this epic world. Folks, if you are a hardcore gamer, or a fan of ancient history, epic stories, or all three, get this one in a heartbeat. I am officially a diehard fan of this series and will play all of Ubisoft's games now.
The world was a lot more beautiful in the past. Modern architecture departments should all be fired and replaced 'cause the world they are building is ugly, bland and talentless
Kassandra is the best Character! @ubisoft should invest in more games, Netflix series .. you name it … all around Kassandra. Keeping the humour , flirty and bold characteristics and keeping Kassandra .. well… Kassandra! Kassandra universe. Kassanrdaverse !
Historically it makes less sense that Kassandra is canon but still a great character I personally choose alexibro as he fits the time period historically
Really authentic even though the ancient Greeks mostly fought in ordered phalanxes and they were not wearing Corinthian-style helmets during that period. Also, the triremes were not that big. They were scaled down intentionally for speed.
Simply put: The BEST AC games. Very disappointed with the DLC FIRST BLADE. Valhalla and mirage are so week . We need more RPG consequences and romances choices and gear build. PS: to the people who made Kassandra’s face: THANK YOU! She is gorgeous. Of course the voice actress is perfect for Kassandra. Everything is amazing in odyssey except the DLC! Romance options , characters , voices and acting .. funny and humour lines … brilliant!
i wish they make another pirate Ac game with sutch a big open world and lot of deep char customization and ship customization in terms of look and weapons and stuff.
really i dont understand the hate against this game. the world is the most beautifull and the gameplay is fun. only the main caracter isn't really a caracter
@@lifeisbeautiful7361 No, it's the reason so many got into it. Man oh man, I started going back through their older games, some are good, some are so so. Truth is, to the fresh eye without misplaced loyalties, the further back I went, the worse it got. It's nuts. by 2007, after Ocarina of time, after Tenchu, MGS, after tomb Raider. They go and make that mess. I'm not saying parts of it were not OK. Mostly I think it was the graphics at the time. Those cutscenes. the action was secondary. Those first ones controlled like crap. Funny thing is, you know it too. You just somehow must defend them, or you've lost hours of your life for nothing. Keep in mind, they are just video games. It's OK to admit how bad they were, that they needed drastic changes for millions of others to like the brand name too. Odyssey did take what was good in many of them, and fixed the wrongs.
@@lifeisbeautiful7361I can't take people like this seriously it's definitely a assassin's creed game it just mainly focuses on the ISU and the bloodline but only real ac fans would know that
I just bought gold edition. Been a long time since a game made me actually amazed. Coming over hlll and seeing city of Athen. Amazing. Basically Assassins Creed mixed with Witcher . Witcher (lite) that is. If they went hard on branching storylines and dialogue , we would be talking masterpiece. I feel most the time we are given the idea of choice . I still love it.
Out of all the assassins creed games that could possibly be made into live action, whether it be a TV series or movie, I feel this one could most realistically be done. It already has a story that is more enthralled and interesting than other AC games. Plus, we've seen movies made and shows that have been based on this time period. The fact this game start out with King Leonidas and the 300 and is based off of his grandchild, this would be, in my opinion, fairly easy to turn into live action. I do understand an AC series is being made for Netflix. I don't know what it's about. However, I can only assume it's about the first one, whose story was ok. Not as in depth as other AC games. And if its an original story, they're bringing to live action then it's very likely it will bomb as the movie did. On a side note about the movie, among the complaints I have, and perhaps this is minute, but given in the game how a person is transported into the animus through laying on a table and in essence being hooked up and linked into a computer. Why for the love of God would you have it where Michael Fassbender dangling from the ceiling hooked up to tubes? Did Michael not want to lay down. And he was an original character in the movie. BAD IDEA
Worst AC Game. It lacks the Templar’s and Assassins. It breaks lore. The choices break lore. The protagonists were horrible. The story was 90% filler. (My opinion)
@@yurialves9582 No its not. The origin of the assassin's takes place in Assassin's Creed Origins. This game has nothing to do with assassin's or Templars.
Exactly. There's a tree to train in, engravings, a set that makes you a ninja. Not only is there stealth, it's better than in any other game, IF you do train and research where to get what you need.
