Today I learned something genuinely awesome, Shadows is responsible for the most driving kickass riff in the band's history. I spent countless nights jamming to C.A. because of that riff. Guarantee he is also the reason they are leaning towards classic hard rock like Hail to the King, which I love.
Huh, interesting, cause I've always placed the HTTK album far on the miserable end of the list. The problem is, this album doesn't feels like its been made within their unique sound. Henceforward, it feels like a cover album 🙃 just my humble opinion
@@dzonybajlando9270 everyone hates it. The songs are objectively well made and mixed but people complain it isn't their sound. Im perfectly okay with that argument, however, those same people tend to loveee The Stage which was an atrocious record from top to bottom, apart from the title track. You cant hate on HTTK and then defend the stage. Doesn't make sense.
@@Urmom-oz1lo yeah. He learned classical piano when he was young, then he learned guitar after he got inspired by GnR, then he started to sing later on after forming some bands in middle school or high school. That dude is really cool.
Met them. Put em half in tears because i was the first fan to have the same Fiction tattoo that Jimmy had. Same reasoning, not gonna go into detail, but I wrote in to win, front row seats, shadows shook my hand during This Means War, nothing but a good time and the way they react and treat their fans is a way that's rare nowadays 🖤
I love that there were no conflicting egos in the band here. Everyone has a good singing voice? Great! We all get to do vocal parts and fill out the songs!

I love that M.Shads wrote the riffs for this song! They’re amazing! He can do so many different things and it’s awesome. I also loves that he lays out the riffs on a guitar, and love seeing him jamming out to Syn playing the riffs. Seeing him play the organ is pretty damn cool too.

@GregorySpikeMD It acts as a capo, if you don't know what that does, well it prevents any unwanted strings to ring out while playing. It allows you to play MUCH cleaner.
@DamnCrazyCracker The rag is used to mute all the strings when you record a solo. Just to get a clean recording without the nocie from the other strings. :)
@Lespaulman222 It mutes the rest of the strings, so if he went to do that pinch harmonic and accidentally hit another string, it wouldn't vibrate and make a sound.
All I can think of at the end of the video when it's going into the intro is being at one of their shows and watching the strobe lights and fire and the crowd goin crazyyyyy. Best shows ever
I believe they probably use the recording or maybe get M. Shadows to sing it, but then it wouldn't sound right. They probably wouldn't play this song too often.
@acoustakyndel He uses sit to mute all the other strings so when he plays all you hear is the note or notes that he is playing and that is it. not a capo.
