Interview with the actors/developers and behind the scenes footage of the video game Gun. Gun was developed by Neversoft and released by Activision in 2005 for Playstation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PC, PSP and Xbox 360.
Haha there was a gamefest once when this game came out and they threw promotional items in the audience. I got hit straight on my nose with a GUN deck of cards 😂. I still have the pack!
GOD I wish they would remaster Gun. Copy and paste it. But update the graphics. Give new players a taste of what we had. I wore out my PS2 because I played it a lot. My most played PS2 game is gun. Gun is in my top 5 games of all time
Man I love 'Making Of' types of videos. I enjoy learning every aspect of something I'm highly fond of. Gun is the best shit you can play on the PS2 no contest
This game was so ahead of its time. It led the way for the Red Dead series. So many similarities in the game play and style with Red Dead Redemption 1. This game deserves better recognition for its greatness and impact and a remaster.
"A cutscene needs to be very concise and short while also developing the characters" *coughs in Red Dead Redemption 2*. Watching this Making Of, its amazing how much love and passion Neversoft put into their Game. Nowonder i adored this Game as a Kid, the opening mission on the Steam Boat alone is burned into my mind. As it seems we are getting a lot of remasters of 6th Generation Games, GUN needs to come back. Give me a proper remaster, ill happily pay for it
This game is literally my childhood. I never knew gta or other popular games like that. My uncle had this game on his pc, and this thing, I have played hundred's of hours on
I find it interesting that they felt the need to explain the concept of what a cutscene is, just shows where they thought the industry was in pop culture that they had to break it down that much.
The look really genuine about their work. And their team leader fill to the brim with his own personality, Unlike those hipster CEO tryhard we got nowaday.
This was the 1st game I ever played that I atleast recall, It may never reach the top of the worlds ears today. I can say this however. We will Always Know and tell others of this Dopeness let this ring out eternal. GUN FUCKING RULES 🐎🤠🤘
I thought i had seen this on TV around the time the game came out. My buddy got this for Christmas. Im playing it again on gamecube now and its great! Nothing like it at the time and its basically RDR!
I have never played Red Dead Revolver, but I have played the two Red Dead Redemptions and Gun. Gun is Red Dead Revolver with more realism, an open world, better graphics and a good story (Not saying Red Dead Revolver's story isn't good, cause it is). The story, characters, and voice acting could remain the same for all I care cause Revolver all ready had a decent story, good characters, and good voice acting. But the graphics, side missions, activities, and the open world is what Gun should have had, and been. But it was improved on with Red Dead Redemption 1&2. Gun pioneered the open world western. Red Dead Redemption especially RDR2 perfected it. Good stuff.
Not only was the game a favorite of mine but it was also my dads favorite, I was a kid playing this on the game cube I think, The final boss would always confuse me and I struggled for days till eventually I figured it out. I finally beat the game I called my dad while he was at work and told him I beat that son of a bitch before he did🗿💅🏼 but seriously this game is super fun! I just seen I could get this on steam and I desperately would love a remake! More missions more story more everything! This game
Played this when I was about 13 after I had played Red Dead Revolver. I was never really into Western themed anything but DAMN do I love those 2 games. Gun was one of my most memorable games in my childhood :') THIS GAME NEED A SEQUEL OR A REMAKE!
I also beat it tonight for the first time in like 10 years. Got an Xbox 360 just so I could play it again. Not quite as good as it was when I was a little kid (it came out in 2005 so understandable) Still a fun nostalgic time! Westerns are my favorite.
@@OGbqze so you like it more than red dead redemption 2? I know the general consensus is that’s the best western game. I’ve tried to play it twice (got about 10 hours in each time) but gave up both times. I thought the gameplay was too complicated but I’m gonna give it another go. Curious what you think of it
@@RobbieEgelstad I enjoy Red Dead, I could play it for a decent amount of time. But for some reason, I find the more simple games that feel like I'm back in my childhood more enjoyable since it's just a game and not an entire alternate reality.
Yes,I love the red dead game series but for a lot of little reason I prefer gun,I prefer its vibe, the fact that the game is on the gamecube,I prefer game with a short lifespan etc.
