I did the same thing with my second child. I made sure she had 6 pairs of pajamas, 6 short sleeve tops, 4 long sleeve tops and 6 bottoms. Everything I had from my first daughter. I ended up selling 5 trash bags full of baby clothes. We only had to buy diapers and wipes for our second child.
I would say it is very possible to do with a newborn. I stared my minimalist journey over 2 years ago and when we were blessed with our baby, I kept it minimal with everything, clothes, toys, accessories etc. But then again, first baby and all not knowing everything right off the bat, turns out I did need a rocker, a breast pump, a sound machine. But in the end, our baby being almost 6 months, I say we’re still doing pretty good in the minimal department 👌🏼 love your videos guys!
Loved this! I have maybe 7 or 8 outfits for my baby girl as well. And we got rid of our changing table. I kept the changing pad which I pull out and put on our bed for diaper changes with diapers and wipes in our side table next to it. Its perfect. You guys are inspiring. I cant wait to hear the birth story! My baby is due this month too.
Hi! The mini crib we used Just for the first months while he was in our room. We transitioned him to the full sized crib at around 3 months and gave the mini one to my sister
You guys are fukn cute! Love this video. I have no kids myself but I always think about how I would maintain my “minimalist” lifestyle if I did have any kids lol
Every parent is different there doing what they think is best for them and there children and If that’s a weeks worth of clothes or even wardrobes full that is no ones business but there’s and I think it’s all about preference I really appreciate videos like this I’m not a minimalist but I find these videos so helpful for storage ideas house ideas even there children’s room is perfect to me keep up the videos because I for one really enjoy them and so do loads of other parents or non parents or even to be parents or parent so please don’t judge anyone xx
