Great Video! Great idea to mix it in the mold! Hi Stevie! My mom would make this soap all the time but I remember it would smell really strong. My mom would use it on us when we had a skin problem. ML!.

Hi Patrick, i made a pine tar shampoo hot process for my sisters scalp psoriasis. It was so bad she had scabs. After 3 months of using it she is almost back to normal. I added some charcoal to it thought and mine turned a dark brown. I was wondwrjng what color it would have been if i hadnt. However, it looks like i used more pine tar than you did, which is why it probably excelletates trace. I used about 2/3 of that can.
@SoapyOaksFarm
@SoapyOaksFarm 5 лет назад
Line, that is a lot of Tar for sure, I used 7% of my oils, but I know many use a larger amount

Im gonna have to try that. I think it does work because I know they sell tar shampoo for that reason. I have excema or psoriasis on parts of my scalp. It's very uncomfortable and burns alot from scratching uncontrollably at times. You sure beat the problem that others have had in making it with getting thick before pouring in the mold. Thumbs up for that one Patrick! :D Stevie has really gotten so big now! How nice that he comes every morning to be around you. Your his Daddy and his Momma and he loves you as his family, how cute. :D

Oh wow, lots of pine tar in that soap. How did they like it? I have a can of pine tar and neem oil just staring at me and I keep avoiding eye contact, LOL. They are so aromatic they scare me a bit. The skin benefits cited have me wondering if I should overcome my fear and take them out to play.
@SoapyOaksFarm
@SoapyOaksFarm 5 лет назад
Jen, I am happy to say I have a very happy customer. They do have strong smells for sure, but the folks that want them already are prepared for that :) Some folks think it won't work if i'ts' not stinky :)

Welcome, it's great to have you here, Patti is a dear friend. I use the Essential Oil Calculator here www.eocalc.com/ it's a great source for being sure you are using safe amounts of EO in your recipes.
