Hi, I just found your channel and love your videos! Quick question, could I make a bunch of S chain links and harden them in a rock tumbler? Or is hammering the only way to harden? Thx! Beginner here 😋
Hi Sunny, they will definitely harden a bit in a tumbler, but you won't get the same effect as hammering, as it flattens and spreads the rounded ends and adds a more interesting 'forged' look to each link. For me, that's the beauty of handmade. 🙂
