Greg Santucci is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and founder of Power Play Pediatric Therapy. A graduate of Penn State (BS, Exercise and Sport Science) and Thomas Jefferson University (MS, Occupational Therapy), prior to opening Power Play in 2006, Greg was the Director of two large pediatric practices in New Jersey. He is certified in Sensory Integration and has been helping children and their families, both in private practice and in public schools, since 1999. Dedicated to best practice, Greg presents workshops nationally on topics related to sensory processing, challenging behaviors, and improving school-based therapy services.

A thousand Yes's! I've worked in education for years and I can tell you that so many teachers find themselves getting dysregulated by not meeting their students where they are at. Thanks for sharing this very necessary message. "Connect & Redirect".

❤Excellent!! Information. Making up reasons related to erhical choices is SUCH a disservice. The school system seems to ignore movement needs in its very STRUCTURE. How much structured? Older? movement belongs in an elementary learning environment

Yes my spouse needs to hear it. Our children zone out if they do not get their wiggles out (free play). As their mom I have learned this by spending time with them more. Often they need my “help”. Hubby acts out if emotion at times which makes a situation more difficult than it actually is.😢😢😢😢😢
