So this video is kind of all over the place BUT I think everything came together nicely in the end. I hope you guys enjoy.

Hi love❤️ These shot glasses came out super adorbs But please wear gloves in a respirator mask. If it gets on your hands your skin can absorb the chemicals in the resin And resin fumes can be toxic if someone isnt taking safety measure.. Also, try not to use water bottles to mix resin. They can actually melt because how thin the plastic is. There are disposable thick plastic cups with measurements on them ready to go ❤️🤍

Hey I recommend you look into the safety of doing this. I heard it’s extremely dangerous to use these chemicals in an area that isn’t ventilated and you do not wear a mask and gloves. You can get very sick in time and even terminally ill. shot glasses came out great by the way.

A zip lock bag works well. Just put in what u need equal parts and squosh it around until its clear and the bubble pop easy woth heat

Please don’t use resin for anything that is ever going to be in contact with food or drink! The chemicals are incredibly toxic! Also, always wear a respirator and use gloves and only use resin in a well ventilated area! Even if it claims to be food safe, those guidelines are very iffy!

Actually if you’re using epoxy resin it is fine to drink from :)

Epoxy resin has gone through hundreds of testings. Once its cured its absolutely foodgrade safe, read some articles about it before spreading false info

You do realise those plastic tumbler cup things are made from epoxy resin and majority of plastic things are like baby bottles are made from the same

I agree with the comments about safety, maybe that's a candle holder mold, nobody eats or drinks off the resin. gloves, and mask, door open. You will be alright. Put small plants in there

Did you add a layer of clear resin to the inside of the shot glass before using? I just know from making cheeseboards I was always told to add a clear/pain layer of resin on top after the cheeseboard is dried/cured to make it food safe.

Some people are trying to say these aren't food safe for drinking out of b/c i would like to start offering someting like this to local caterers, wedding and event venues. But there are food safe options available. so what kind did you use? im gonna keep researching it. great vid

There’s actually no such thing as “food safe” resin in the sense as being safe enough to put on your mouth or touch food. Some ppl use resin to decorate the outside of drink tumblers but the inside, the part storing the drink, is still plastic/metal safe for food. A lot of ppl have been getting creative and making glasses, chopsticks, bongs, ramen spoons, you name it. But they’re best for decorative purposes and aren’t safe to use for food. Especially after frequent washes. This is a dope video! Just be careful putting toxic chemicals in your mouths pls

If you put alcohol on epoxy it starts to break down so making shot glasses with epoxy to hold alcohol doesn't seem too safe.

ur rite bout not using water bottles. the 1 to 1 ratio won't be accurate due to the shape at the bottom. unless u measure them in to separate bottles then add 1 to the other after measuring. tfs

Its beautiful! Please don't drink out of those! :D there's a good reason we don't have bowls and plates made of resin! It can make ya sick! But keep it up that's really great for your first shot glass!

Yes! I hand washed at first but I have put them in the dishwasher once. But I would recommend hand washing

Just curious to know if the resin epoxy is safe to drink out of. I searched the info before finding this page and everything I keep reading says it isn’t safe 🤔 just wondering if someone could give me that info. Thanks!
