Nice work! When you shield both parts to the ground you get potential difference between both ends, just shield only one part of the cable to the ground to avoid that.

What a good video! Soothing but inspiring music, such a professional bench, efficient work, nice edits. I wish I had something to solder ! (sniff !)

Sorry to disappoint, but this is pointless. As a pc engineer I assure you, connection through usb has a built in error check, which guarantees bit to bit exact transfer of data through any USB cable(any). It has effect on analogue signal, but again 5% less resistance is too low for silver to be viable option vs copper. One AWG size bigger copper cable is less resistant vs pure silver and at the same time 8-10 times cheaper. Another example, 24 AWG silver vs 24 AWG copper is 5% less resistant(almost unnoticeable) but 10x expensive. But in usb it is just pointless, it does nothing.

I have never had a pure silver USB cable although all of my speaker cables and interconnects are solid silver where silver does make a noticeable difference. I can say however that my British built copper Vertere brand USB cable that cost about $110 sounds so much better than the 5 to 10 dollar generic cables that arguing the point would be ridiculous. I have a feeling it comes down more to using quality fittings, careful soldering and high silver content solder. I would agree that it's only noticeable if a person has good enough equipment and good enough ears for the difference to be heard

@@DickDebonaire read carefully, take usb 3.0 certified cable from a reputable source, not any 5-10$ USB cable, it’s important. Try it out, and please come back with your thoughts.

Great video! What size heatshrink are you using? I have a USB cable which has too wide a USB B hood and was thinking of taking the hood off and just putting some heatshrink there instead.

Hi 🙃Does it sound better than the Supra 2.0 ?😁. Also do you shield every part of the cable separately or just the ground? (recommended). Do u also make usb c to usb c or usb c to micro? 😊. Can I have very specific order parametres beyond whats avaible on ur site?
@kacsa-audio-hu
@kacsa-audio-hu 2 года назад
Hi, we can assemble USB A and USB B connectors, as we keep theese on stock. We don't have USB C connectors. The cable has only one double-shield, not shilded by all wires.
