There are specific mods to play the Code Geass TL. If I remember well, it only allowed to start from the Britannian exile from Europe, meaning the whole conquest era of the great factions still has to take place.
I choose to believe that Code Geass exists in the same universe as Mad Max and so all the crazies were drugged into believing that the world ended and were just dumped onto Australia while everyone else goes around as usual

No, that isn't it, the British royal navy was routed in Trafalgar, instead of the other way around. Leading to a successful early invasion of Britannia. So the Britannian royal family fled to the New World which they kept because the American revolution was put down much easier in this timeline, and with their new powerbase in North America, went on to unify the Western Hemisphere under their control.
This is awesome, I tried doing this in the normal game as England. Actually succeeded at doing alot of it; including All of the Americas, Iberian peninsula, France, west Africa, and Japan. Just didn't get to Russia in time.

Well, there was, for a time, the Middle Eastern faction too (until Brittannia conquered them) and a sorta free sorta puppet state Mittel Afrika that was answering to the EU/Germany that was actually giving Brittannia a lot of trouble because they were the ones that invented those kinda anti-grav glider sleds for Knightmares to use on the sandy terrain they had. Indonesia might have also been independent, but I'm not sure about that one.
You can tell it was a show made by the Japanese, because in that timeline they didn't account for the Anglo Saxons, the driving force behind the British empire

@@sunnecas Doesn't change the fact that the "European Union" doesn't exist in Code Geass. It's called the "Europia United" and is fundamentally different from the real-life EU, being led by aristocrats (well, quasi-aristocrats anyway) instead of being democratic, with a heavy focus on maintaining colonies as well. Basically has nothing to do with the European Union. The two world wars also didn't happen the way they did in real life, so there was no real reason to establish the EU. My comment was also mostly meant for the first replyer. And I'm pretty sure the Europia United *did* in fact own the entirety of Africa before being partly conquered by Britannia between R1 and R2. Damn, I used to be too big a fan of this show, and I still remember the lore too well :D
YourFwiend Kevin not really; Britannia far surpassed every nation in the world by army size and technology. Imagine the American military X10 with German blitzkrieg tactics, that's Britannia. The EU would have many national identity crises far greater than the Chinese Feds
Europe isn't really that big you know. China ITSELF is bigger than Europe. And has almost twice as many people....And im talking about in real life too. You look at a map and think that europe is big, but flat maps cant accurately portray what europe looks like on a globe. Nigeria for example is as big as France and half of germany combined. But on a map its a bit smaller than france. Europe as a region is not huge. Even America is aaaaalmost bigger than it.
India is not a part of chinese federation and in south east asia there are independent states (or Area of Britania). Seen with Schneizels Research facility
