Cheap velcro can also be a culprit here. Motorcycle racing leathers have velcro so strong that pulling the knee sliders off is a sweaty job, almost like they were glued on. That velcro would rip your glove off of your hand before you lost a slide puck.
Huh. didn't know that was an issue. Literally never happened to me. I literally never rotate my pucks until they're super angled so that's probably why. I guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.
@@owencampbell777 On this note actually. My TSG kneepad velcro is wearing out after 1 year. I think its because I'm washing my knee pads. I try to wash them with cold water as to not melt the velcro fibres... but the inner straps just aren't as good as they used to be.
@@owencampbell777 Damn thats a shame. Some of the seams on mine are coming apart too. I'm going to have to sew them back up and possibly sew on some stronger velcro.
Another thing I see people doing that causes the puck yeet is: Try not to move your pucks down to hold a selfie stick. Usually this leads to a puck that’s only 2/3 of the way on the glove with 1/3 dangling out waiting to get snagged. Cool vid!!
Jesus, im constantly flipping my pucks, just like im constantly flipping my wheels. And whenever i fly off the road i always have to spend 5 mins looking for my pucks 😵
