Hello from Paris ! So nice to see you as DOF of Paris FC, I have taken them on FM24 and I am having a lot of fun ! And yes, you can say 'PFC' as a nickname !

No idea if they're good in game but have a look at some of the Celtic players, as much as I would be sad to see them go as a Celtic fan. Paolo Bernardo might be gettable, he's on loan from Benfica. Liel Abada but he's probably too much to buy in the game. Matt O'Reilly probably the same as Abada. Reo Hatate is Rolls Royce in real life. Rocco Vata might have some good potential. Lots of potential gold mines there

As a biased Canadian I love the Marshall-Rutty signing! I currently have him playing in my Newcastle save on FM 23 and he is performing decently as a back up option at rwb.

Wonderful idea for a club and for a challenge, PFC are a club I regularly go back to on FM and they are a really fun challenge. Quite impressed with the immediate results and domination in L2, curious if you could have gotten those without the late signing of Martial. Very solid results overall and can't wait to see what you will do in L1. The league is honestly very weak these years (a lot weaker than 5 years ago imo). Quickly accessing Europe is completely doable with solid transfers (exactly what Lens did IRL, and what Brest is kinda doing this year). Can't wait for the duel with PSG, that will be the real challenge. I don't know if you want to be corrected about French pronunciation: you range from surprisingly accurate to hilariously awful (there is no shame in that, some towns have unexpected pronunciation, like in any country, and French pronunciation is hard in the first place). The main difficulty is the an/ain/on sounds. Not that they're hard to say but they are written in the most unexpected ways and can throw a foreign speaker off. "An" is in obvious ones like Nantes, but also at the end of Lorient (silent T), or surprisingly how you pronounce the aen of Caen (the e is literally useless). "On" is usually spot on in Lyon (which is not pronounced like the English lion but I think you do it right). It's also very common in places with "mont", with a silent T (it means hill). Clermont and Montpellier. "Ain" is the sound at the end of Saint and Germain in PSG's full name, but surprisingly it's also how you pronounce the "ens" at the end of Amiens. It could spell out Amiain. Maybe even weirder, it's how you say the "eim" in Reims. This could be Rains. And the s is not silent for once for some reason... Other things I can think of is that the g at the end of "bourg" (which is the same origin as borough/brough in English places) is silent, notably in Strasbourg (and other places like Cherbourg) Other one I can think of is Metz, which is literally pronounced like "mess" in English. I think regionally it can be pronounced the "German way" but the French way is definitely mess. Same for Auxerre which is usually pronounced Ausserre. We tend to pronounce weird letters in actually simple ways, which makes you wonder why they're here. I think you're spot on on the big cities with weird pronunciation like Bordeaux, Nice and so. If any club pops up or there are some special transfers you bring in I can try commenting in next videos for a star player to get his actual name!

I was the guy who mentioned the Ass Man didn't change the roles. I noticed now he doesn't do it in the friendlies. I've fast forwarded to the first competitive match and then it did work. So during friendlies, it's still the tactic the player implements.

Afternoon Clayts, Hamel was my top scorer in season 1, closely followed by Kebbal. Agree that Chergui is a good utility player and I had him mainly drop into defensive midfield and at times CWB on the right side. Upon promotion though, I couldnt guarantee playing time so I sold him on. Martial a cracking pick up for Ligue 2, 29 ish goals is a very good return, arguably in his prime years too. Awesome to see Guti pick up the title too whoop, bring on Ligue 1😀

Probably should be 4-2-3-1 on tactics but as clean slate so you don't get gegenpressing out of the box. Moreover you signed a bunch of injury players and older players so gegenpress will actually probably cause downfall. Love the save idea though, keep up the good work.

Hi Clayts. Enjoyed the first two episodes and will def be following this save. Quick question... I am doing my first ever DOF save and even though I have changed all responsibilities my Technical Director is doing the suggest transfer targets and not my Assistant/Manager. is there a way to change it in this years FM?

I just started a DoF saved game, out of interest, do people go on holidays between the transfer windows or do you "play as normal" day by day?
