Thank you for sharing, it is nice to know it is not just me that feels like it takes forever to get the constancy ‘just right’. I use a VERY similar recipe. The only difference (Other than scent) is adding a bit of Arrowroot or Cornstarch to the mix too. (About 1TSP per Cup of total oils) This helps with the absorption rate tremendously and cuts down on the oily feeling.

Thank you for sharing with us! I've been trying to figure out how to change up my whipped butter (was using fractionated coconut and shea) and now I have a few ideas :) I love that you fill your jars with a spoon, there's a little extra love in each one, it's not all just about the fastest way to pump out product, but really enjoying what you do! :)

Thank you for sharing yet another Awesome video Iv been watching your videos for around 3yrs now and your voice is so calming, relaxing and informative at the same time. For anyone that is pregnant, breastfeeding, elderly or photosensitive this is the correct Lavender to use. The unsafe one is called Lavendula Augustifolia. This one with circulate thru the Body safely where the other one won’t and can have nasty repercussions.

I see someone asked you about your butters melting. I'm in the desert in California. I use about a tablespoon of kayolin clay to each 8 to 10 oz. of oils, and whip it in really well. It keeps my butters from melting in temps to about 85* or so...BUT... NO butters are going to withstand the direct sunlight or the heat of the car. If that happens you can always try re-whiping it. I lost volume in mine that sat in my car, but it still did a good job of moisturizing.

I always melt oils together first, put in the fridge for an hour and whipping after takes around 15min and back to fridge for little while. This looks nice though and will try my next batch this way. Thank you

I love this recipe. Is there any basis for solidifying the melted butters + oils in a freezer before whipping? You seemed to have successfully eliminated that part with persistent whipping. Tell me what you think please. Thank you.

I used my kitchen aid bought a separate bowl and wisk just for lotions but I did not like it wisk is two big and even after 25 minutes of mixing i still had little chucks of the shea butter im going to try doing the other method you showed when you made this lotion again. Melting and putting in fridge and then mix with a hand blender instead. Plus be careful dont put the chunk of shea butter and turn on the blender (newbie mistake) it bends the wisk a lot. 🤣🤣🤣 cut it in to little pieces or smash it a little bit. I only added shea butter and coconut oil and arrowroot and vitamin E didnt want to put a lot of expensive ingredients and mess it up. But once I feel comfortable making this lotion I will try adding more of the ingredients you used. I love making this for my family.

Out of all the products you make, which two would you say were the 'easiest' to produce? To me, the body butters look like you can get a nice batch done, complete, in a day. I'm the type of person that needs 'instant gratification'....and I love the way those butters look - almost ediable. I love all of your videos....I sit and watch one after the other..

Great video. Allow me to give you a tip, though. In the kitchen, your essential oils are in the window, in direct sunlight. You weaken the potency of your oils by exposing them to the sun. Thanks for the awesome recipes. Cheers!

If you put it all in a bag & cut the edge off then pipe it into the jars
@ArianeArsenault
@ArianeArsenault 10 лет назад
I did try that, but when you need to refill the bag a second time... it gets messy! Plus it's much more easy to clean up an oily spoon than an oily bag! I don't like disposables! :-)
@tjsarlo6514
@tjsarlo6514 10 лет назад
Everyone has their own way of doing things, I suppose, but I was thinking how much time you would save using a piping bag too. Yes it is messy if you have to open the bag to refill, but time is money and I like saving money...and time.
@rraceyllacey
@rraceyllacey 10 лет назад
Ariane Arsenault If you are going to use a bag, you should invest in the large professional bag and the large round tip.. The way to fill them best is to take a large plastic soda/softdrink cup and cut the bottom out. Drop the bag through it,( tip and coupler should already be attached) and fold the top of the bag down over the top edge of the cup just like you would turn down your bed sheet when you make your bed. This give the bag support and it opens the top so you get your butter IN the bag instead of all over it. I hope this helped! Your videos are great. You are a very smart and talent hard worker. Look for the good things instead of the negative and it will bring more good to you. : )
@Assassinsoftanaris
@Assassinsoftanaris 8 лет назад
You could just get a couple of bags ready instead of refilling. Couple cents more but saves time, which also saves money!

Thanks for the video! Toujours quelque chose de nouveau, yay! I recently made a batch of body butter for myself and my kids, made with shea butter, soy butter, avocado oil, vitamin E, and tapioca flour (supposed to help absorb into the skin). However, you didn't melt all your ingredients before whipping, as I did. Perhaps I'll try it your way next time. A little more work, but it looks like the texture is better. Do you mind sharing how much you would charge for a 2 oz jar? Merci encore, tres bien fait.

I love that you make your products with LOVE. That is so essential to your costumers. Just as the Ice experiment by Dr. Masaru Emoto’s proves that projecting love and kindness is important. Same with the Rice experiment. It’s puts validation to the blessings of ones meal. I would love to get into making soaps and beauty products. It’s just that I have an auto-kidney transplant possibly happening then after this I’ll deal with my pelvic congestion. Sigh... in a good way, I will not give up on my dreams.
