In no particular order: - 40v oil impulse with TD173 layout - 2nd gen hammer drill without the gearbox issue and improved electronic clutch. (Dust collection capability would be nice) - 40v OMT (WITH DUST COLLECTION FOR CUTTING AND NOT JUST SANDING. Fein has a good one) - Belt mounted cyclone for vaccums (so you can use the nozzle overhead). - 1/2" router xgt - 100W PD USB-C bi-directional adaptor for XGT batteries. - XGT AC adaptor - 1ah 4010F batteries -Dustless 165mm saw series. Left and right side blades. Bring over the best ideas from your JDM only: removable side, adjustable speed, Ideally depth of cut equivilent to the FLEX inline 6.5" so you can fully work 2x material. Metal cutting shroud to swap in. XGT power vacuum head. Jigsaws should have always had AWS and better dust collection. Tracksaw should have a double depth guage. Backpack vaccums should be quieter.

1) Narrow head multitool with a locking system like Bosch i.e. not a pin that can get lost 2) 125mm circular saw with a compliant guard so they are available for purchase in NZ 3) Gasless framer with optional bump-fire - if Milwaukee can do it in NZ, so can you (yes, you can order MIlwaukee framer in NZ with bump-fire, but stores special order them) 4) Cordless Table saw 5) Cordless Belt sander 6) Updated 5" random orbital sander - the DBO180 is gutless 7) Bigger LXT batteries 8) [Insert tool request here - I probably missed something]

I would love a battery water pump (standalone, aside from the powerhead attachment). 80v chainsaw with a longer bar. A smaller AC inverter that runs off one or two batteries. An automotive charger for the 40v system. Maybe a soldering iron. A 4-port charger for the 40v system. A mains-powered 300-350mm 'normal' bandsaw. A battery log-splitter. A battery ride-on lawn mower.

I use the outdoor tools as my profession in arb I'd like to see all in 40v 1. refinement in the top handle chainsaw (which is currently brilliant) (everyone I work with uses the same chain on a Stihl, Husqvarna and Milwaukee I have Makita and they are all really competitive) 2. A better hedge cutter head for the kombi unit 3. A 40v battery lanyard adapter so I can put a battery on my harness and have the chainsaw be a lot lighter 4. A 40v mains adapter, sometimes in the shed I would just like to turn stuff on at the wall 5. Trigger lock on a tyre inflator(I'm not buying one until that's standard) 6. A mini 40v jet wash like the 18 7. A mini 40v vacuum like the 18

Please Makita, hurry up with the GA050g 40V grinder but with a slide switch and variable speed. I will buy one immediately but it has to have these two features. No AWS, no safety-double-switch, just slide switch and variable speed. Thank you, glad we talked about it 👍 Edit: And a few new attachments for the dust blower would be nice. Maybe some rubber cones in different sizes so it seals properly when you blow through small pipes and hoses.

Shawn here from Maine USA. My coworkers and I are die hard Makita guys and the absolute #1 thing we've always wanted is bigger 18volt batteries. I know we finally have the 6 amp hour which is a welcomed improvement, however let's get bigger and let's actually get some 21700 cells in these things and leave the old 18650's in the stone age with the nicad batteries

The Makita website is one of the worst to navigate. You have to dig through multiple layers in order to find what you’re looking for and a product page is super clumsy as you look through the photos and info. I’m committed to Makita but Milwaukee has a much better web design. As far as tools go here’s my list. 18v car jack, more corded/cordless tool options (versatility is king), 18v soldering iron, beater bar attachment for the stick vacuums, and of course more competitive pricing! Makita is consistently the most expensive tool on the self.

An improvement on the 18v multitool is a quick realease for it so the pin is removed from the process. I know it was mentioned in the video but that is a big improvement that would make me buy it instantly, what they have done with vibration dampening and noise levels. The pin I find too easy to lose, or at least I imagine so as I don't have one as I've hesitated to buy one based on it not having quick release/lock, a bit of a catch 22 really!

I recommend Makita to focus on tools that specific trades need. They've done a good job with the outdoor/landscaping/gardening line, They have mowers, wheelbarrows, pressure washers etc. There woodworking/carpentry line is coming along. Great quality cutting tools (various types of saws) extraction system using AWS is great, and they have the framing nailer coming out. (can't remember 18v or 40v) However Milwaukee is dominating in plumbing and electrical. If possible an impact driver with the TD173 ring light with torque to rival the other brands. a battery powered fish angler, an inspection camera to view cables or pipes in tight spaces, a hole punch (similar to Milwaukee's), multi tool, stud finder/wall scanner (Think they have one in 18v) What I want most is their new storage system to be released. (Not battery powered related I know) Macpak doesn't cut it for a lot of trade environments. I've cracked or broken 2 cases, and would just love for Makita to make something similar to klein modbox, flex stackpack, milwaukee packout etc.

I was glad to see Makita release a power station however I don't know why they limited it 1400w continuous. Most competitors are 1800w. Additionally I would need to buy an additional battery pack or adapter kit for my Makita batteries costing around 700.00 dollars US that's added to the approximately 700.00 US for the power station. I would have liked to seen an 1800w unit that I could attach my batteries directly to.

I would love to se a smaller track saw. maybe a 4 1/2 inch blade. Mainly for cutting 3/4 inch material. I think that it could be 18v.

If makita could come up with a 18v narrow gauge stapler I would be so happy!

18V 4.8mm rivet gun much more compact like the milwaukee and AEG m12 and 18V respectively The full spec rivet guns are good if you're someone who does commercial quantities of rivets every day, but some of us are doing trim repairs that only require maybe 10-50 rivets in a once a week sitting.

40 volt multi tool. 40 volt random Orbital sander. 40.volt table saw or ideally a 80 volt max table with a rack and pinion fence. 40 volt portable wet/dry vacuum much like the small 18 volt version and an updated track saw with a few more functions to be comparable to the festool or Milwaukee.

I see no reason for a 40 volt multi-tool. Many 12 volt multi tools work just as well if not better than 18 volt so why go 40 volt. They should have made their batteries 18/40 like hikoki. They're 18 volt batteries need to be upgraded to 21700 cells. Thats why i left makita for hikoki and dewalt

I'd like them to lift their impact wrench game. Some 3/8" (even 1/4") options would be good. Plus performance, they're probably the worst of the big 3 for that. Some more Made in Japan tools would be good too.

Internal battery powered zero turn mower fit for cutting taller grass would be nice. Stihl are releasing their behemoths this year, there's no point to wait.. If not, a traditional lawn tractor would do ;) If that's too complicated, at least make a 40V mountain type or hybrid bicycle (yes, the one with the pedals, let's not copy Ego's motorbike). I'd buy one. Plus, it could serve as an effective marketing tool as no similar company seems to have a product like this. Edit: scratch the bike, saw the price of the one you already have for the Japanese market ;(

My wish would be better/more 12v tools that are better than the red M12 stuff. Right now I have the M12 pin nailer and multi tool, which I feel are the best available across the industry. Those should be the bar.
