This Channel is devoted to Tools and what you can do with them. Tool Reviews, Tool Tricks, and of course building things with Tools. If you like REAL TOOL REVIEWS then you have landed on the right channel for you, especially if you like Makita, HiKoki, Dewalt, Hilti, Milwaukee, Bosch, Metabo, Ryobi, ToolPRO and more. Hopefully my vids will teach you something and perhaps give you a chuckle. Enjoy. Business enquiries can be made to the email below.
Why does Bosch not have battery-powered "framing" nail gun? I have invested Bosch, and now I need a framing nailer, but I have to buy Dewalt and its batteries! Shame on you, Bosch!
You don't have to buy dewalt. Hikoki and Milwaukee make better framers. When I made this video it was meant to be the framer but it " hadn't arrived yet" and as you say, still hasn't. Bosch are painfully slow at releasing tools, often years after they first show them off.
From what I can find online, the limited edition colour ones are Chinese, the regular hikoki green are American - do you think that has something to do with it leaking oil?? There another video on RU-vid with same red colour one leaking. @@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL
boy tried importing a few of these to the states and got blocked by lithium restrictions. these are gonna take forever to make it here IF THEY EVER DO since cxt isn't that popular here. I wish I could have one
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL The courier companies seem to block all lithium batteries in japan regardless of capacity or they don't want to deal with USA custom paperwork. Even if I could locate them in Europe forwarding services like colis expat don't do lithium batteries either. Hopefully Canada gets them eventually or ebay puts em up. There's the last resort option of buying an entire kit since they don't seem to block buying an entire cxt vacuum with charger and 5ah battery. Au websites that sell em don't seem to ship here. Still, I must have one of these to put on the small cxt radio I got for my mom since the 4ah is a bit bulky and this one lasts longer. I will prob end up getting the CL108FDSTW and sideline the meme vac
Great review. Thanks so much for taking the time to do all of this. I really wish these cordless Festool tools came with options to add a cord. I have very limited space in my work area and would love to have the option to convert this compact table saw into a permanent fixture. Also, I can seriously watch you cut wood for hours without getting "board".... I mean bored. Haha
I was buying makita tools and really liked them. But noticed none of the dust extraction tubes matched each other!!! Wtf is that about? So I stopped collecting them and moved to Ryobi. No loss of quality at all. Cheaper. So pleased.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL well now I think about it. An big improvement. Moving from a company that can’t manage to unify dust ports from one single tool to another (pretty big quality control failing) to o e that can. So your right to point it out. I did a big upgrade in manufacturing quality I guess!
@simonmenzies3142 You are right about the dust ports being a pain in the arse. But I don't know why it bothered you because you obviously don't use tools much.If you think ryobi are good quality.
Can anyone recommend a brand of star lock blades? The Bosch ones are relatively expensive vs their non star lock multi tool blades. Thanks. I an in UK btw. Just after I bought a Bosch starlpck multitool they brought out a new model which is way quieter, the battery doesn't fet in the way and less hand vibration. 😑
I think the fourth sequence is a firmware version. If that's correct, they are probably in sequential order from oldest to newest... unless the battery has been repaired and the firmware updated.
$2,000 with batteries & a charger... At that cost I can only imagine how much the filters cost to replace & where I would use this thing it would be clogged in 10 minutes probably! I bought a 7 gallon Bauer vacuum not anywhere close to this thing but I put a filter pal over the 5 later hepa filter & a vacuum bag in it blazing 75 CFM (jk) i gotta make it work. $80 bucks vacuum & 5.0 Ah🔋 on sale 2 for $80, The hepa filter was an additional $25, filter pal $15, then vacuum bags $15 for 8 of the bags on temu... So for 200 bucks I have bags that will last me a long time washable HEPA filter & 2 batteries to go with it, uses 1 @ a time so NEVER dead. Is Makita better yes of course I love Makita tools but I just can't afford that stuff! Awesome video per your channel 👍👍
I have a 5.0 aH battery that has been charged for awhile with the indicator light on the charger displaying GREEN. However, when I press the button, the first light flashes 7 times (VERY QUICKLY) and the others do not illuminate. Thoughts????? I have numerous Milwaukee products but quite frankly, I am starting to get frustrated with their batteries! My oldest ones are 3 years old and most recent ones are 6 months old. I have experienced issued with a few of them. Help!!!!!
I wonder whether the power-off timeout can be changed? Just thinking about how some tools can have their settings saved in the batteries - I wonder whether Makita had the foresight to allow things like the timeout to be set there too.
Can the sprockets be moved between saws? Just wonder whether that would allow the same bar and chain to be used on all of them for a more direct comparison and for wider selection of chains. Mine says in the manual you can get a different sprocket for it if you want to use a different type of chain but I wonder if they are all compatible across the range?
In Makita Singapore there is a chart for chain-bar-sprocket with parts numbers, a 3/8lp is available for xgt saws, so you can put the 36v chain and bar on the xgt but as I know there is no sprocket available to fit the xgt barcand chain on the 36v.
Hi, please how much difference in performance there is between 4ah normal and 5 or 8ah batteries on the big boy chainsaw? Does it worth the very expensive price of the batteries or can just stick cheaper standard 4ah batteries? Thank you!
The F batteries deliver more current so the saw has more power and won't stall as easily. If you already have a normal 4 Ah battery just use that and if you find it stalling too easily when you're using it then you can get a higher current F battery. I'm also guessing the non-F batteries will go flat faster as well, because working a battery too hard makes it behave like it is a smaller capacity battery. If you're only cutting small things occasionally with time for the battery to cool in between uses then you might find the 4 Ah one is fine. I have 5 Ah ones for the "big boy" saw and even though they are F batteries they get *hot* after cutting through large tree trunks so even the F batteries get worked very hard.
@@vink6163Yes at the moment I have only 4ah normal and 2,5 batteries, I have to try better but for felling trees and cutting I suppose no problems, for continuous cutting firewood on the stand I still use the 36v ,, time will tell , thank you
Been waiting for this one, probably try and get an orange one but could be a challenge, another thought is will it work with the backpack battery, cable might be annoying but plenty of run time.
