I ordered this machine yesterday and have been watching videos to get acquainted in advance. This is extremely impressive. I have a gold monster 1000 and have detected in an area where I found nuggets ranging from 0.2g-1g but I have only ever found the smaller pieces by panning the dirt. I have high hopes that I can start finding those smaller pieces with this detector instead of having to bring buckets of dirt home.
Congrats on the gold finds! The Gold Kruzer seems very sensitive to even tiny bits. Wanted to buy a Gold Monster but now I have to take a closer look into the Kruzer again. Enjoyed the video quite a bit. Got a new subscriber here. GL & HH
@@jcmining9450 gidday! :) nice day out by the looks of it! That Kruzer seems like a right wee sniper. Have you had much experience with the minelab GM 1000? How would you compare the 2 for often quite mineralized ground? It looks like the Kruzer is a modernized GB 2 just a slightly lower frequency, so thus has more scope from beginner to advance detecting experience. Doing my due diligence before I make a selection! Gday Vinnie , I detect with mates that run the GM 1000 , both great VLF’s for finding small gold , if anything I prefer the Kruzer due to the extra features it has , wireless headphones, target ID , waterproof to 5m , hope you pick a machine and have fun finding gold , cheers Jim

Bugger, I went to a meetup on Saturday and was the only one with a Vlf, other folk did well, I don't think the small coil is good for wide area searches? I did find targets, but as expected just junk. The ground in Bendigo was pretty hot and I turned the sensitivity down to 55,. Good result for you, good to see the numbers on your display, thanks

Yeah mate the tiny pieces can be detected on top of, bigger pieces like •2g - •5g can be detected at 4”-6” deep , depends on how quiet or noisey the ground is
great work. I am deciding between either this unit or a monster......I am now liking this! would like to see how you set it up from scratch. the monster appears a lot easier to use for a first timer. any help would be appreciated. either way a big thumbs up and all the best with your venture

I would gladly appreciate a guide on the setting you are using right now. I have the same MD but using GEN I am not able to detect .2 g nuggets. Only using BOOST or FAST .2 g nuggets are detected. In Italy, I look for nuggets in a quarz based soil; what is your ground composition? Many thanks in advance. Flavio
Pippo Giallo I run in General mode Gain 95 Threshold 09 Isat 03 Tracking 01 The best soil for me is pipe clay mullock heaps around shafts Quartz rock piles are good for specimen gold Some of the other areas here have hot and cold rocks which the Kruzer sorts out pretty easy
Great videos! I just bought a gold kruzer, but i have never detected before. Do you have any recommendations on basic settings? I live here in new hampshire where there is alot of iron mineralized rocks. Any help is greatly appreciated)))

Nice great little vlf , yeah iv done a couple vids showing settings at the start , there’s many comments on my videos about settings too , it’s hard to give advice on settings without knowing how mineralized the ground is you’ll be detecting in , I still have the Kruzer but mainly swing my Minelab F1A4, I just stopped making the videos because they all started to seem the same ⛏️🤙🏼

Yes the beach can be very mineralized, my machine is noisy in mineralized ground in the goldfields also , you can lower the sensitivity or look for quieter ground , these machines love white pipeclay and quartz areas
Iv found high concentrated areas of black sand in creek beds that just black the machine out sending it into overload , where black sand is spread out a bit more I believe small bits of gold could be detected depending on how scratchy the signal is , repeatable targets should always be dug

Gday mate I haven’t used the Gold Finder my self but a friend of mine had one , he did end up getting a kruzer and found more pieces of gold with it , either look into it a bit more or just go with the kruzer
General mode Threshold depends on your hearing preference, I run mine on 09 Isat 04 Gain 85-95 depending on mineralization of the ground Tracking on 01 Ground balance a few times and that’s it unless the ground changes as you move to another area
Great video mate!! I’ve been looking at the Kruzer for awhile now wondering how good it actually was!. We’ve got the Gold Monster but the misses likes that so I wouldn’t mind another dedicated gold VLF detector , the Monster is a great detector and finds fly shit size bits, But I was vert impressed with your video and the Tiny size bits it was getting as I wasn’t really sure it’d find them tiny bits as well as it did!, was the machine on boost to find them bits??. Anyway thanks for the video it was great and please keep some more of the Kruzer coming!!. Cheers

GETTING REAL Vibes Both great machines , if you can try a demo of each machine it may help you choose what will suit your needs , the Kruzer for me hands down , target ID , quicker swing speed , many other features the Monster doesn’t have , on saying that I regularly detect with mates who own Monsters that always find gold in the same areas

Yeah probably not mate , last time we helped a bloke out he moved in with a group of mates and cleaned our spot out , do ya homework learn to use Geovic to print of maps for gold , look for pipeclay and quartz reefs and shallow alluvial workings , join ya local pmav for 12 months can be a big help to , good luck hope ya do well

I was more interested in the setup of the gold kruzer and the sort of things i should be looking out for. Not sure where you are based, but I'm Ballarat based. I would even be quite happy to meet up at a park or something, just to get some pointers and talk to an expert who has actually found gold with the detector. Gday mate in one of my vids I show a bit on start up settings , to ground balance press and hold the GB button , pump the coil up and down about 5 cm from the ground , you will hear the machine beep when ground balance is done , I generally ground balance again shortly after then again if you notice a change in ground or how the machine is running , hope that helps cheers Jim ⛏

RAFAEL BELLIDO Hi mate , I run the Gold Kruzer in General mode If the ground is quiet I run the gain high around 95 , if it’s noisey I turn it down to 85 Isat 2 or 3 Tracking on 01 Threshold around 9 Good luck
@Chinese for supper Gday , yeah mate Vic GT , most ground near and south of Ballarat is fairly quiet and the gain can be ran pretty high , but further north the ground can be pretty hot in most areas so need to turn the gain down , a good test is using a tiny piece of leadshot as long as you can still hear it as a repeatable target you should still get gold

Rodney Boyce Gday Rodney , yeah mate some times 20/30 bits for a gram , although iv found a few bits around 1/3 to 1/2 gram with it , the machine paid itself off in about 6 months , happy hunting
