beautifully broken, the devs knew that the malay age up bonus was too strong so they intentionally made it broken so you could experience the raw power of big numbers game.

It's just sad that after 2 weeks they still didn't fix a bug that basically made civ unplayable for most players that don't have "heVipe" or "ohabqua" in their name

I was iffy about this issue when I realized it, but I didn't let it stop me from playing Malay. You know what they say: "It's not a bug, it's a feature!" Also, seeing Viper kill a villager and a knight with trebs was pretty funny as well. Makes me wanna see him try that again as either Britons with their Treb Area-of-Effect tech or Huns with their 30% more accurate Trebs.

Honestly wasn't expecting this level of comedy from Viper.

I suppose the only way coaching would work in this game is to take someone who is already an experienced player, and just point out their weak points and what they should improve on, but even then they'd still have to just practice a lot.

I gotta say, if I was playing against Viper and not only he quickwalled to save his villagers, but to imprison me, I would be suffering from monkey tilt. I wonder if it's worth doing an archer rush just so you won't be worried about the quickwalls so much. Obviously he would have another counter, but anything other than getting quickwalled.

This isnt a bonus it just means it reaches each age as fast as a normal civ. So its actually a nerf because you cant get a villager advantage

Sadly malay are still not fixed though. I hope they fix next patch to 66% slower uptime!

Why are they broken now? More than before? They had this faster uptime before as well, what has changed? I am confused by the age progress level stuck at the end for a long time wtf? And also i guess this meta can be played only by a high level player, cos if you are overrun in dark/feudal heavily and you can't defend properly, all is lost anyway
