Malaysia is stepping up efforts to become a regional powerhouse in artificial intelligence (AI), with the launch of a national AI talent roadmap. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim wants AI to be introduced in primary schools and Institutes of Higher Learning, as well as in all ministries. Afifah Ariffin reports.

Right now many local sec srudent cannot speak english.u better implement sincerely the teaching of math n science in english fullyfrom form 1 to 6 now.how can u learn al when u dont understand simple science in english.

I personally do not know any Malaysian software engineers or data scientists. Mostly Indians, Chinese and Eastern Europeans. I dun think it’s in Malaysian DNA. Sure fail. 😂.

@@InbarajSuppiah 😂. But it is quite correct to say Malaysians are usually not in this profession. The fact I see even eastern Europeans working in Sg as data scientists and not Malaysians, it's quite accurate to say. E.g. I see so many Malaysians are in FNB, so obviously a lot of Malaysians are in FNB. If AI is your strength, I would have seen a lot of Malaysian data scientists. Actually Malaysians are good at bs 😂, so a job that requires real intelligence is not for them.
