I work in Community Development for a Philadelphia organization. This man is the epitome of “walk it like you talk it”. He really is a community activist, extremely humble person. Much respect .
Morning! Thanks for sharing this conversation with Malcolm Jenkins, appreciate him sharing wisdom that will help change our lives for the better, kudos.
Hey Breakfast Club..... I know Y'all don't watch the WNBA (Even though y'all both have daughters), and Yee was the only reason yall included any WNBA news. However, the NY Liberty are going to the WNBA Finals for the first time in 21 years. NY has BRE STEWARD and J Jones! Could y'all invite the ladies up for an interview and at least shout the NY Liberty out when they WIN! Y'all run down the NFL scores and boxing wins! Please include the WNBA!
This was a really dope interview. I don't follow sports, so I don't know who this guy is, but, I love his intelligence and blk consciousness. I wish there were more black men like him. Props.
For me, I just loved his intelligence, wisdom and consciousness. So little of that everywhere. I wasn’t expecting to be so inspired this morning, needed that! “Do the ordinary better than anyone else.” 🙏 Just wish they could bring up all the legislators doing good work too. We need to stop rewarding and talking about all the crazies. Need to elevate the political discussions in my opinion. 😅
(James 4:7) Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Resist is a verb, an action word. You have something to do about your situation. You have to quote scripture, pray, take thoughts captive, worship and resist the devil, the battlefield is in your mind. -Kathy Degraw
Not feelingg Malcolm addressing anything that has to do with Kap. They never saw eye to eye and for him to speak on the concerns around Kap wanting to return to the game he loves is ridiculous. Kap may want to make the practice squad to educate the new wave of young brothers on things to look out for and be aware of. Brian Flores has an active lawsuit against the NFL and he sought out and works for a team.
Kaep didn't retire or stop playing by choice. Malcolm retired by choice. Kaep's choice to make himself open to prove his skills and abilities on the Jets practice squad is a 1st step not a final destination. Your choice of words about Kaep's choice says you've never been challenged like he has nor have you had an entire system working against you. 💯
Nah Kap overplayed his hand. He was trash his last 2 seasons. He wanted franchise qb money after playing like trash. He wouldn't play for less than 20 million a year of guaranteed money.
@@nealhenry1231His last season he showed up to training camp out of shape. He got beat out for the starting job by a bum. Dude got benched after 5 games. Kap finished the season and went 1 and 10. Nobody's giving up franchise qb money after that. He could've signed a short term deal for less money but he refused. This really had nothing to do with the knee.
@@pk7ghalm23He threw 16 TDs to 4 INTs. In what universe is that "trash"? You either are antiblack or a black person with serious internalized racism issue. Get help.
@@dgrant1007 You think that "closure" will happen on the football field. Its not in the NFL or his interest to even go this route. Choices have consequences.
I couldn’t help but laugh when he said he got to experience white privilege, yet he’s a wealthy athlete in the United States. He’s part of the privileged class 🙄 we keep inviting Rich people on here to talk about how they feel victimized in society This conversation was a joke
Rich black people still face discrimination and racism despite their socio economic status. I think it was more of not having to be conscious of your being in a racially homogeneous place. For some folks it is a liberating feeling.
@@jman1562001 Well every day, people's discrimination is way different from him living in a million neighborhood surrounded by white people who have money This is just a victim Olympics, and again, it’s not towards you. It’s just disrespecting people who listen to The Breakfast Club to get a real insight into people who talk like they’re not part of the system. They are one percent because as much as they talk about mental health, and all of that, they all go home to gated communities and are economically more privileged than all of us combined
1. KAP chose to opt out his last contract. 2. After multiple chances provided by Teams he didn't like any of them and choose not to go to the teams 3. Just a couple of years ago he was given a chance NOBODY was given to work out in ATL. He went and put on a spectacle and now he wants a chance. ITS Over
