Exactly! They’re frugavores- fruit eaters. Lil secret- humans are frugavores too! We just stopped eating what we should be & have ruined our health; that & chemicals 💕
He is such a big animal and is a lovely dainty eater he did not stuff all the food in his mouth at once he ate each single piece of fruit slowly and chewed it slowly so impressed by his eating habits ❤😊❤
It can be argued that orangutans look more different from humans than any of the other great apes, and yet their mannerisms are so much more like us than the others. Just wonderful animals, if you're reading this please do what you can to help save them!
We can help them by boycotting commercial palm oil. Palm oil plantations are destroying their habitat and putting them on the critically endangered list. These amazing creatures are vital for ecology and do no harm to others. They are in perfect harmony with nature but the greed of man is causing their numbers to deplete. Refined palm oil is present in almost all purchased foods and is used as a preservative but it's a harmful carcinogen. In it's unrefined state it contains alpha and beta carotenes which are powerful antioxidants but the commercial food industry filters these nutrients out and we are left with nothing more than a dangerous toxic substrate which is put into commercial foods to increase their shelf life for profit. Buy organic or better still grow your own foods if possible using non Bayer (GM) seeds. 😊
A man of taste. He knew after eating a banana the potato would taste weird, so he moved onto the rest of the fruit. Orangutans are awesome. So smart. 🧡
@@stellviahohenheim true. But I doubt the zookeepers or whoever would be stupid enough to give endangered animals poisonous food. They’d be in serious trouble.
He is more than sweet and he really liked the banana maybe he should have three or four in his lunch box God bless whoever is taking such wonderful care of this beautiful orangutan❤❤❤
@@nonbirthingperson8087 We are evolved past living in forests. Just because they aren’t evolved to the point that we are doesn’t mean that they aren’t relatives to us. These animals are very identical species to what we are and we should be taking care of them and protecting them. If we aren’t killing humans we shouldn’t be killing chimps and orangutans. Having passion about this doesn’t mean we’re just going to live in the fucking forest lnfao. Such a brain dead comment to make.
@@esestephanie4312 the great apes in particular are extremely smart and "human like" - most have similar brain sizes... It's just that life for them does have different needs for the most part... But the zoo in particular creates a need to adapt... And we see more "human" things, basically from boredom... If only we didn't poach them, and create a need and a use for zoos in the first place...
@@esestephanie4312 There's an amazing video on the internet of an orangutan sitting in a dug out canoe, and figuring out how to use the paddle to move along the water... Either from watching other humans do it's or from trial and error, or what... But it is remarkable how well they can grasp and understand tools... One of my favorites in this example, are the chimps who figured how to lick a stick/make a stick sticky somehow, and then shove it in an ant hill or termite nest, and pull them selves up some "protein fun dip" 😂
Reminds me of my dad taking his lunch break on the building site he worked at. The way he walked over, found his spot then carefully peeled off that lunchbox lid. 😂
My man living the life, i mean im sure he didn't choose the zoo as a home, but he actually seems content to be where he is, and i sure am glad he does seem happy.
Sweet! I love that he has his own little lunch box and brings it to where he wants to eat it - and then enjoys all in leisure and (seeming) appreciation. 😊
I love the such gentle eyes! You know they are always thinking too. This guy would be a stud if he was in the wild. He’d be fathering many a children I’m sure lol
I love the fact that they could easily crush your bones like they were made of paper-mâché, but they choose peace over everything. Powerful yet graceful at the same time.
@@tvg1144 Yes, we are powerful in our own right. However we are not born with that strength. A baby orangutan is born with incredible strength. I mean, just look at how they are able to climb on their mother and hang on to her as she effortlessly moves from tree to tree high up in the canopy. Also they are surprisingly very tame for a wild animal. All I’m saying is they are very fascinating and definitely one of my favorite animals besides elephants and gorillas.
sanctuaries and hopefully zoos, do everything possible to keep orangs healthy happy and most importantly, occupied. I help care 31 rescued ones in Florida, we work till exhaustion for these sweet "almost people" ❤
One of God's majestic creatures. Incidentally, this one could pick up my 190 lb body and throw it 20 yards with one arm, or grab my head and rip it right off, due to its insane strength!
@@haze_the_alchemist1123 Exactly! AND, humans are really frugavores too! We we be sooo much healthier if we went back eating what god meant for us to eat 💕🙏
