It's strawberry season right now and what better way to celebrate than with a quick and easy strawberry cobbler. This is how I make all of my cobblers; you can't go wrong. Harold and I like it with some vanilla ice cream on the top.

If you don't have self-rising flour or can't get it, just combine 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt (whisk together) and then proceed with your recipe. I've made this cobbler with other fruits--I never really thought about using strawberries. It sounds great! For patriotic holidays, you could mix strawberries and blueberries together.

I have had this Recipe for years. I use it all the time. Our family loves apple, cherry, Blueberry. It's simple & delicious 😋 for patriotic holidays I used Cherry on half side & Blueberry on other half side. when cooled I sprinkled light dusting powder sugar
