Amazing reaction. You probably don't know how right you were. Karla's comment about the MV was spot on - it was filmed in Hong Kong as an homage to Hong Kong New Wave director Wong Kar-Wei and included scenes derived from his movies. Hwasa is a fan of Leslie Cheung, who often starred in Wong Kar-Wei's films. Totally agree with Roger that nobody else could do this song like Mamamoo - one of my random thoughts while listening to it the first time was that MMM had recorded a song no one else could cover (at least with any authority). And you also got the vibe of the dramatic version, which was released on their 2 cd career retrospective album I Say Mamamoo: The Best in 2021. That album included two new songs plus new recordings of 21 of their hits and favorite b-sides in rearrangements and remixes only previously heard live in concert or at special events like award shows. Most of the 21 rearrangements were recorded in a way that made them sound like a live in studio one-take session with musicians playing real instruments rather than synths and programmed drums. Mamamoo always uses a live band for their Korean concerts and I think the album's production style was meant to give a sense of the raw immediacy of a live performance. They premiered the dramatic version of Wind Flower during their epic 4+ hour long 4 Seasons F/W concerts in 2019 and imo it was one of the highlights of their My Con concerts during their world tour last year. Wind Flower wasn't a big hit on the k-charts but it has always been one of Mamamoo's and moomoos' favorite songs. Wind Flower is title track #3 in their yearlong four album 4 Season 4 Color project (March '18 to March '19). As you may know, each album had a theme season and color and each title track explored a stage of love in a four part relationship cycle. Wind Flower was the Blue/Fall/Heartbreak song. Roger nailed it when he noticed they were alone in solo scenes throughout the MV and then got together at the end to commiserate and cheer each other up. They use the same format in all the 4 Season 4 Color MVs. In the solo scenes each member expresses her own take on the theme and situation of the song, which you could think of as her shade of that season's emotional color. Mamamoo believes they were destined to meet and become lifelong best friends and in the 4S4C MVs we see them going through the ups and downs of personal relationships with the love and support of their sisterhood bond. Wonderful reaction - keep up the great work!

The dramatic version is what they performed live at the recent My Con tour and it's a crowd favorite and you can tell how much the girls love performing this song. The ending is absolutely amazing!
