Kudos for going out and doing street photography with that beast. Tip: use that neck strap when you’re shooting hand held. It’s the next best thing to a tripod.
I really enjoyed the close up portraits of the musician. I quite liked the architectural one following up from them. I enjoyed seeing your process and how you approached people. Street portraits is something I've been contemplating but not quite got up to do yet.
it all comes with practice and once you break the barrier of nerves it all becomes easier if you want to try it i would suggest asking older people first :)
Blooming broccoli m8. I am getting to me RB67 Pro S. I have have the CDS meter prism but I like using my Gossen ProfiSix & Profi Spot Awesome reliable meters
I love all the shots but my favorite one is the Lion in Chinatown. The detail is amazing. How do you like the Ilford 400 Film? I grew up in Ilford and I always loved using the film. I remember some chimneys with the word Ilford on them. I think it was the original factory. It is not so easy to find here in America.
Too long since we saw you! Good work with the RB and a good selection of 'trashy' images! Favourite is the first close up of the guitarist. Hope you get an RB eventually as even though they are a beast, using it at waist level gives a more stable base than a Pentax 67 at eye level - especially when needing portrait mode!
Great video, as always.. You've now encountered me to bring out my RB and start shooting with it again.. Only problem with it is it's weight, that's if you're shooting for more than straight 3 or 4 hours or more. Other than that, it produces stunning quality
Paying a little more attention to what's behind your subjects would go a long way. The street sign behind one guys head, guy behind the guitarist. Do you at least get peoples email to send them a copy of the image?
The Musician's were good but one thing ok.. two things filters for your black and white and lock up your mirror for a better stable shot because you're doing hand held.. Otherwise very good video..
