With the Corruption dwindling in Louisiana and reports of an outbreak in the north, our Hunters travel to new lands. Each one has their own reason to chase after the foul creatures which now inhabit the oil fields and abandoned mines.
Once a verdant landscape of green forests and rocky crags, Mammon's Gulch now mimics its inhabitants, fetid and rotten, soon to be the latest stage of bloodshed and battle.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 will be launching to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 15th August, 2024

I play mostly solo since the beta and always had a blast taking it slow and deliberate, yet i often wipe three teams on my own if not more. I have 1.89 kda, never sniped, but always was that vulture terrifying teams left and right, engaging on my own terms and taking my sweet time bleeding trashtalkers like you into oblivion. But what if he's not that hunter, and has even less kda ? What does it matter if he's immersed and having fun while you look at numbers in the lobby ? You sound boring to play with.

I can genuinely say that this is the most hyped I’ve been for a game or update… ever. I fell in love with Hunt when I wasn’t even able to play it since I play console and it started as PC only. I’ve been a steady player since the week it launched on console and this update it going to be freakin huge. I can’t wait. August 15th needs to get here.

Right there with you. I remember when Hunt was supposed to be a free to play PvE game and then it went dark. Then when it resurfaced I had a bad experience with battle royales (didn't know it was an extraction shooter) and that it was on PC I didn't give it a second thought. But when it came onto console and I just had a itch that it could only scratch, I fell head over heels in love.

the more ive thought about the bullet drop since you announced it, the more i am exited just to learn the game all over again. Ive never had issues with bullet drop in other games, it rarely takes a while to learn them, so i am genuinly happy to "start fresh" after playing it on and off since release

I really hope that with this recent upate and the new time frame of 1896 that there will be more weapons like the Reichsrevolver, K98, Borchardt pistol and maybe more firearms from central Europe. As for names you could use, here are some ideas: Rittmeister, Caroliner 98, etc.

I miss the good ol days when the interior of the buildings and underground areas in Hunt were ACTUALLY dark. Darkness is my friend... 😈
