The triumphant return from the brink of death!!! Man Alone returns after fighting a harrowing battle with the dreaded RHINOVIRUS!!! It will take more than an exotic illness to keep him down, because he has prizes to give away - lots of them! Also, special shout-out to Haris Zark who - though not being chosen for a prize spot - did submit what is tantamount to at least half of a solo manuscript. I've copied and pasted it below. But I won't tag you Haris until you've seen the vid so I don't ruin the surprise!
Here it is (all 454 Words of it):
The player is one of the Great Old Ones or any other dimensional being from the Cthulhu Mythos lore that wants to break into our dimension and do its thing to humanity.
-Player chooses a Great Old One or makes one by scratch as see fit.
The more bizarre the better and the more Sanity loss it inflicts to anyone see it.
Prologue:
You (The other dimensional being) are at your own dimension world doing nothing in particular. You are bored to death.
Suddenly a whisper comes to your antennas (or whatever organ you have to perceive thoughts or sounds).
At first you think it's your last meal still alive at your digestive system speaking.
But as the whisper gets louder you can understand it's a chanting.
Something or someone is calling you, using ancient and forgotten rituals.
Interested enough you attempt to make contact with that caller.
It is a human being.
From a long forgotten planet called Earth.
You remember your elders telling stories about that planet and how tasty were the humans eaten alive.
With a new hunger and a will for adventure you direct the human, sending images to his mind, to open a portal and let you in the Earth realm.
But, one Human is not powerful enough to open such a big portal to let the whole of you in.
You see just a crack opening in front of you, just enough for you to send a little part of your self in.
You float between dimensions for a while and then you come out.
You look around and you see the strange place you knew as Earth.
A small strange looking being is In front of you, having around a lot of candles, reading from a big old book and chanting frantically.
Your first think is to grab that and suck the life out of it but then you realize that you need it to make the portal bigger so the whole you, can enter.
You come up with a plan.
You will use that human to bring more humans and make the ritual to open that portal once and for all.
Then the feast will start.
Your character has Strength, Willpower, Magic (MP), Energy (HP), Hunger.
The character will try to persuade humans to be followers and open the portal with a ritual. But it will need humans to eat to sustain its form to the dimension of Earth until the ritual.
You the player, role play how this will be done and the outcome.
There will be obstacles like humans going mad or investigators ruining the rituals and things like that.
Or maybe there are other Old Ones that want humans for themselves.
Who knows?
