I gotta admit, Man Bat looks great with the design which I like even though he doesn't have a set of stretch out wings because Man Bat is my 7th favorite Batman villain after Joker which is my number 1. Catwoman 2., 3. Mr. Freeze, 4. The Riddler,. 5. Two Face, 6. Penguin.
What I really want to see is brainiac, classic scare crow, classic riddler, classic penguin, a version of black manta, Grundy, a realistic version of Bane and a definitive version of joker.
I’m honestly shocked we haven’t gotten Darkseid and Doomsday yet, instead getting Batman versions of them (plus a movie fig in darkseids case). Really hope mcfarlane has them lined up sooner or later. Also for megafigs I’d love to see Parasite, Ares, a Lex luthor mech suit and Trigon.
Got him and Killer croc recently! Unfortunately my killer croc broke so I had to return him, luckily I found man bat and the same store and ordered a new croc! Both of these in my opinion are two of the coolest mega figs they’ve made!
Killer Croc had it right. Two fists with no alternate is bad, this guy really needed a claw hand. He still looks incredible and I am very happy to use a Gamestop reward to cut down the price a bit. But man, it really needed an open claw hand- or two. I guess since he’s a man first he’ll fight with fists. I don’t know…
Yeah, the longer I sit with him the less I like how the hands were handled. They could have made the wings come off the base of the wrist so that the hands could have been articulated, for one thing. For another, even if they didn't want to do alternates, at least one open hand could have let him hold figures or something. Either way, seems like a missed opportunity.
That would look good fighting my Future State Batman and lightning collection MMPR. But I'm going have to wait for a sale. Kudos to the opening skit, it was funny. 🤣
@@5POAFigureReviews Actually if they make the build a wave bane mega fig size I would be all for that. Might have to buy the whole wave as that would be cool. Would love to have that Robin and Azrael.
Oh man, I feel in quite a difficult spot here. This is one of my most anticipated figures from McFarlane! I really wanted to see a review first before getting him as I can't get him in my local stores. I loved his look but the articulation thing is making me hesitate! I like to play with my figures and having all those issues of the bended knees, him not being able to stand so well due to the ankles and most of all... the loose shoulders, that's really tough to see! I can pass everything but those shoulders. I'll think about it but this info is very much appreciated, Jason, thank you! (great intro again hahaha)
Just snagged one for $18 at a Walmart. Don’t even collect DCM - but the head swaps with my Neca American Werewolf in London for a very interesting custom idea.
I'm waiting for that Injustice 2 Scarecrow, Mcfarlane loves Darkness Evil characters so who else would be nice, I'll love a Poison Ivy, or a Parasite, hell please I need a Sinistro, Grundy
Injustice 2 Scarecrow voiced by Robert "Freddy Krueger" Englund - heck yeah! Any of your picks would be great, but for a Megafig I would LOVE a Solomon Grundy!
I'm really conflicted. I imagine I'd normally have him posed hunched down like he already is, so if his legs were naturally straight (and given how top heavy his is) I could see it wearing the knees out faster (and having visible joint gaps all the time). I don't love how they did it, but I get it.
That could have been cool. I'd thought about doing a Goliath comparison since I did a bunch of Man-Bats in his video, but mine is boxed up and it's a bit of a hassle to get him out and set up.
I see your point and that def would have been a fine way to do it, but now that I am over a 150 videos in, I think it might be odd to change it up. Especially if you start binging backwards. Thanks for the feedback, though!
