I think staying positive is important. We take his word, if he lied he will be judged by Allah and not us. Assuming the worst is a bad thing, when in doubt, assume in favor of the person

This scares me because I had the video too but I got rid of it a very long time ago, I did not enjoy watching it and I have nothing against Muslims but we as humans are curious creatures and we wanna see everything, it is scary that I could have been arrested for having the video but I could understand why, some people might have legitimate hatred in their hearts and they may enjoy watching other suffer, although I am not one of these people.

So what is the point of this video? The title is making it seem as though he’s guilty of a hate crime or something. He clearly indicates that it was a mistake and he’s muslim. there was a terrorist attack on a mosque in New Zealand 2019, 51 muslims were killed that day, the Perpetrator was on a live stream during the attack. Anyway this guy found the video on Fb and downloaded it "by accident" Police tracked him for possessing the video and he claims he has been muslim for a year now and doesn't have the intention to harm any muslims.

It's very unlikely that you accidentally download a video from Facebook. Facebook doesn't make this easy to download videos. The advice for downloading a video from Facebook mentions a series of steps and using a different website to download video.

There are apps for that. The same goes for Instagram. Not difficult to download, sometimes the things you actually wanna download are under another title. Then when you download it, you find out it's something else. It happened to me a lot, of course not with these kind of videos

I think he was not distributing it. He was in possession of it only. Also, there are videos and pictures of the holocaust. Videos and pictures are the proof that monstrocities like these did happen. This is history. I do not believe this man should be condemned for possessing history. Without pictures, videos and documentation history can be erased, skewed or denied. I have trusting in people to be honest. M not proud of that but it is so difficult to comprehend why people's mind so twisted and cruel to watch others suffer. When the accident had happened (being told by my 18 years old nephew), i was shocked but calmly he said 'please do not watch or not try to watch because it's really sad to witness. Teary eyes while typing these comment.

I Saw the christchurch massacre video on discord and thought it was all edited, and i felt so uncomfortable that whole night. Then after a few months i realized on the news that it was actually real,may Allah put that guy who killed all the muslim brothers into the depth of hell,may allah bless every person who died in the christchurch massacre.

Salaam all Just remember Wahshi who killed Sayyidina Hamźa RA.and the guilt he lived with and his infamy .People judge and Allah is the best of Judges.
