@@armorykittingtonI know it's a common saying, but it's still bullshit. You can quit anything and come back to it. Lots of people play an instrument as a kid, quit it as a teen/young adult, and then come back to it later in life even. They genuinely did quit it. I quit osrs for 6 years and I'm heavily considering hopping back to make an iron and do a bunch of stuff I never did before. Just because plenty of players make it their life doesn't mean others don't do it more casually or with self control.

@@kylefracaro5087solo ironman is a lot of fun. I have an ironman on rs3 and osrs that I work on casually. The osrs one I just got to 80 slayer. One day i want to hit 85 slayer and get an abyssal whip. My rs3 iron I maxed doing daily challenges 20 mins a day for 3 years. Had it since 2014. And now I’m working on killing the new necromancy boss for t95 gear. Rs3 is easy to progress casually with very little time commitment.

Osrs is played on a grid, and in combat rolls an accuracy check, then damage roll (like dnd d20 then damage) and instead of turns its timing based combat which is close. Oregon trail cause the graphics lmao. He hit the nail on the head

For those of you fortunate enough to not play Runescape, he's 100% playing it while at work. Runescape kinda just runs in the backround and you only really have to click on in once or twice every 10 min or so. It will definitely decrease your productivity but, hes not sitting in front of a computer for 7hrs doing nothing but Runescape.

I've definitely put 40+ hours in a game over a week while also working 40 hours (50 including commute) and not playing at work. I tried Stardew Valley over this past summer, and that I could play on my laptop at work. I don't think I've ever spent so much daily time on a game. I was doing like 60 hours a week for the month or so I played.
