An interesting grave yard of assorted dieselness. The age its been parked is measured on the ancient strimmer scale. Ankle deep = a few weeks, knee high = several months, head high = what van?
I drive a 2022 TGL 12.190, 4 cylinder with a 6 speed auto. The gearbox is awful at best, at worst it's bloody dangerous. Just turned 54000 miles and it's putting on warning lights about the adblue system. Give me one of the old ones or an Atego any day.
When my Van Hool/Volvo coach was sold on at work it had well over a million KMs on the clock and it still ran like a sewing machine. It used a bit of oil but I forgave it that for it`s many years of faultless service.
Brilliant man love watching and learning thank you ❤️👀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Al loving the videos do you charge storeage for all the customers forgotten projects😂😂..Seems like you need to do a massive yard clear up and move stuff about to get a few more projects in.😂
Wow , MAN with 1 million plus , rare beastie , we had 17 brand spanking new TGX's fresh from the factory on a German music tour for 17 weeks , 15 of them broke down , 2 of them broke down twice , great cab but rubbish electronics , nice vid Al , that looks pretty much abandoned though , pity
If your customer has abandoned the project is it not worthwhile them selling the truck for export to Africa, Asia or South America as trucks with mechanical injection engines fetch good money as they don't want electronic (we sell a lot of agri equipment like this to these places for that reason) injection as there's no means of repair or spares availability.
I would think it has a range change gearbox same as the Mercedes. Don't need any thing more it's only a small lorry. Good engines in those MAN,s usually drive like a car. And go well.😁
Al need abit of advice.. Currently o holiday in the Netherlands and have picked up diesel leak on my cav fuel pump cant stop it leaking air round the copper o rind any ideas
@@6DDIESELSDorset Yes The engine is a Ford but marinised by thorny rift the pump is a cav minimums and the air leak is on the blead valve which has a copper washer just wondering if I wrapped some ptfe tape round to help seat the washer tight it might stop the air leak as its deawing more air than that old merc with bad tank lines you put out a while ago
@@6DDIESELSDorset changed washers chap and added fibre washer between copper washer as the shoulder on new OEM part was a bit shite... However did get it from a farm tractor dealer
Right couple of trucks that might get it working , one you can try warming the copper washers to plim them up a bit of a short term fix might be a big smear of grease round the fitting see if that stops the air 👍
