Al’s a purveyor of what I like to call Treasure , bury it long enough and it comes up smelling of roses once you wash the shit off . Noice one Al ….deisul doo 👍
Now that is a rare old bus. The twin cab sprinter and in good nick low miles. Must be the only 1 left on this earth. And on about rare things. Parked in Milton Keynes shopping centre as a advertisement for some charity is a twin wheel mwb minibus on a 2005. It's been sat in the same place for easily 10yrs. I did try looking at the mileage I think it said 45k But couldn't work out if it was in kilometres or miles as as the glare was to bright. But looks a solid old bus. And it's automatic I'm told. But love the videos Well jealous of your yard I'd love a place like that 👍👍👍
Owe my life to a sprinter Al . I was hit head on ,on a country B road by a 17t lorry@ 64mph when the pulled his tacho . Only two straight panels were the rear doors . Love a sprinter😊 😊😊
@@6DDIESELSDorset police officer said if I'd been in anything else I'd be gone . It pushed the engine and box that far back it touched the seat . Badly broken legs ,but I'm here 💪👍
The Diesel Whisperer strikes again, in almost a smug-like fashion 😂 …….and not a strimmer in sight ! Keep ‘em comin’, and hope the ride-on mower, which I assume is a petrol-engined ‘thang’ actually starts ?! 😉 JCHK
Great video Al but more cars please, don’t get me wrong some awesome vans that deserve to have a second life but I found you and your random channel with a Austin MG metro parked for silly amount of years…….. Your yard has many cars just resting (rusting) awaiting their turn for some extra love and attention….
Great video. Thought you already had one of the best recovery trucks (the one you went and fetched the silver sprinter in). But your collection is just brilliant. Shame you can’t save fattys cab.
T4 is on the list 😂👍. I like a t4 used to drive one years ago. Also did i see an old lt35 in the back ground , you know the one shaped like a brick lol.
I can see your yard being a future video of the bearded explorer / imstokze all those abandoned vehicles left to rust in a sorry state. "one man's trash is another man's treasure"
Al, please film that chassis extension mate, got to do one on my 1968 MK1 ford transit as it’s being made into a recovery truck also 👍🏻👍🏻 cheers mate and keep up the great content. Mick
I have a Passat std i. B5.5. Wagon are colour greatest car ever .parked up when my pancreas decided to start eating itself to DEATH lol dreamed of a Vs van for years now needs to be auto.... Any advice on a cheap version of v w auto....I don't do fancy just good simple like the wife
Your a man after my own heart, I have to admit to being a bit envious of the amount of space you have to indulge your passion, I’ve got a bit of a thing about mk1 vito’s, I’m down to two now, one’s a shed ( garage overspill ) and the other is a rust free ex-met surveillance van ready for the “surf van” treatment, I did have 6 newer type beetles at one stage but had a nightmare trying to stash them around so I had to let them go, I have such little space at the moment I may well contact you regarding an engine overhaul on the vito in the near future, all the best fella 👍
Love these old sprinters Al, I’m seriously considering one or a crafter for my next van, witch one of the slightly more modern ones in the last 10ish years has the better engines and less rust issues do you suggest looking for…if such exist? Matt.
@@CrazzyMead16 the om646 is the sprinter 4banger Merc engine , the early crafter 2.5 tdi is a 5 banger and got the ooomph as far as I’m concerned if remapped and dpf diddled with , I’ve not seen Al do anything with a 2.5 tdi crafter yet , maybe bung that clapped out Merc recovery body onto a crafter chassis cab would be a great bit o’ content 👍
I bought it as a present for the wife years ago , she use to use it every summer . Just don’t get the time these days . Must put it back in dry storage 👍
