“I am the Captain now.” God damnit. I wasn’t going to get this game but... they referenced the greatest sea movie of all time. Beautifully and seamlessly done.
Fun fact: Duke of Milan, the ship's name is actually named after the real duke of Milan who was a special envoy to imperial japan from his trip to Indonesia, his ship actually came across a ghost ship in the sea, those who tried to board the ship came across eerie atmosphere as soon as they boarded it, as well found series of creepy letters that they couldn't decipher it. Soon after they came back to Italy, the ship crew who boarded fell under terrible faith of illness that took all the ship's inhabitants, including the Duke of Milan. There has been many studies and investigation of this "ghost ship", although no sightings was reported, local Indonesian islanders have been telling the folklore of the horrors beneath the sea. There was no such sightings until 1984...

It bugs me how good the graphics are but yet the audio and mouth animations are terrible, I’m hoping this is an early build or something and they improve upon it
@Max Dove It releases tomorrow on the Xbox live store and I'm pretty sure it was released this morning from different sellers and in different regions, as is the cause of this video and many others. I think they did pretty good for what they had.
the curator reminds me a lot of the doctor from Until Dawn. only the Curator seems more like he already knows every outcome/possibility while the doc seemed to react as things progressed
Graphics, visual setting and characters are great! I was excited to hear a new Until Dawn type of game to appear. My only problem of the game is that the dialogue is a bit... Stiff? Unlike Until Dawn the conversations and delivery seem unnatural but other than that, I'm excited to see where this goes
Relative to the genre, just make sure that you are only throwing your hands. Nothing ends well if some crazy person starts running around a haunted ship lopping off other peoples' hands and throwing them.
Joe is literally the person who will try to act as manly as possible and be like the Kyles but cannot withstand another man showing more display of being gentle than he is without starting a fight and calling him a pussy for being too "nice".
This game is giving me Tales From The Crypt vibes and I am loving it!!!! I will always love Until Dawn but this game isnt bad. Dont know if it's worth the full price though. I felt the same about Hidden Agenda too.
You know, about a few minutes into our “main cast” I kinda liked the drunk soldiers more. Younger bro doesn’t seem too bad but.. I feel a little bad for him
Actually, I liked him more than his older brother, typical nerd that I am. Alex Just gave me a douchy first impression honestly, but I can tell he cares for his bro.
Am I the only one who can see a kind of, um... physical similarity between some of the characters from Man of Medan and Until Dawn? Edit: just watched the story about the Ourang Medan ghost ship. Didn't know the game was based on a real unsolved story.
You can really draw the many similarities of this game to Until Dawn that was before it, awesome stream play video once again, you're killing it with the uploads!! :)

1:05:18 Literally this scene is so chaotic I HAAATE IT. Julia opens the door, which i guess Conrad and Fliss didn't feel. And after barging out the door they BOTH don't see Julia and Brad out of their I guess peripherals?? And the devs left this like 5 second moment of silence to make things more awkward. Why did they even give you an answer choice here??? Like wtf quit making out so fucking AGGRESSIVE. And even after Julia gets their attention, they're just like, "Oh yeah, beers, ok! I'll go get them for you!" LIKE WTFGAHSDk Conrad doesn't take notice of the fucking situation its so WEIIIRD. Games looks cool tho.
This game taken from history of SS Ourang Medan Ships in 1948. It happens at Indonesian Sea, Malacca Strait. Believe or not, history of this ships can't explained what happens to all crew of the ships at that time. The last crew that give some SOS Signal to any military post nearest from the location, can't read the messages clearly. Only one messages that being received by one US Naval Ships, SS Silver Star, it said "I died...". Some experts said, all the crew died cause some experiments that being carried by that ships (SS Ourang Medan), after being investigated, there's no sign any effect from that. Until now, the unexplained SS Ourang Medan, where it headed, when that ships created, and etc is still a mystery. Regards, Indonesian People.
