I've always said that if Batman taught superman every style of martial arts that he knows that Supes would be better than goku. I've also thought that is Shang-chi taught the hulk martial arts that it would be unfair.
Possible. If that scientist has been doing MMA for decades and the military general spending most of his time in a chair. Don't mistake "roles" for "skill". Being a great military leader does not mean that you're also a great hand-to-hand fighter. And being a scientist doesn't mean that you can't have a good physical statue or that you can't train your body.
I like how this implies Jor-El already committed a sort of heresy by training himself outside his station in combat, taking Zod completely by surprise in going toe-to-toe with him
Toe to toe? 😂 More like kicked his ass and almost curbstomped him. Doesn't it make sense in a cool way, that especially because Jor is a scientist, he always cud have been a smarter and more versatile fighter in the combat arts, even more than the ones bred specifically as warriors.
I mean he couldve been a militry scientist. Also I think on krypton they have a society like spartans where you have to serve, so jor el probably was trained well and saw combat then chose sceince as a mos in his remaining years.
i really like the theory, that since he was a genius scientist, he crafted his own unique suit, that enchanced his combat capabilities which made him fight allmost equal to ZOD. Thats why it looks like a scientist beat a war general.
Had a suggestion elsewhere in this comments section that Jor-El put his liberal philosophy into practice by learning martial arts in his spare time, something people in his Kryptonian caste weren't supposed to do. This took Zod completely by surprise.
Exactly! I really don’t get the hate for this movie! I grew up on the Reeves movies! Saw all of them in theatres! Granted I was one years old for the first one and likely slept through the whole thing in my dads arms lol. But you get the point! This is by far the best live action portrayal of Superman and Krypton imo!
Superman would probably do the same, kripton had a really old star so the power of kripton's people was average human, superman is sl strong because the sun in a rrally young star so this buff his power
@@elmecaniconaranja1126bro what, I mean I guess kinda since red giants/red sun's leave him like a normal guy but yellow sun's super power him while blue stars super charge him if I remember correctly
Threaten? No, Jor-el smelled something off WAYYYY before it got to this point, he took measures, he built the ship for crying out loud lol. Just saying, I'm a Dad... And also, a natural father , 1st in centuries, he is feeling ALL TYPES of primal... His boy will live even if my death assures it.
@@wolfking4879what do you mean by natural and first in centuries? Do you mean your child isn’t vaccinated? Cus hospitals vaxx your babies without telling the parents and the gov has made home births illegal, isn’t funny how doing things the way God intended is against the white mans laws? The gov is slowly becoming an enemy of true freedom and sovereignty
Their basically like viltramites all Kryptonians possess durability flight enhanced speed and various other abilities but they each have their own contributions to society
@@2000sancho Jor-el was Always a rebellion, he raised a son naturally instead of Krypton's selective birth. So we can assume even being a Scientist he trained himself to fight with a soldier for this day
The man of steel General Zod was such an amazing villain. I like when a villain believes the evil they’re doing is righteous or from their point of you they think they’re the good guys
The first moment I saw Jor-El in this scene, I knew he was bringing smoke Zod couldn't handle...he straight golden gloved his ass....as a scientist...Damn.
Such an under rated movie. MoS: he trying to figure out who he is BvS: he understands he's a superhero Jl: he understands what type of person he is and wants to be. Love ZS vision
Something is telling me the selective breeding of Krypton was faulty, because that scientist with minimal effort just beat the living snot out of their greatest military commander.
For a guy who takes pride in being bred to fight, he sure was gettin his ass handed to him by this scientist. My only thought was, you couldn’t download a training program for Kal? Man downloaded his whole consciousness onto a ship and never taught Superman how to fight lol
fucking goated movie idc if people hated the darker tone that’s exactly what sets the stage for a good superman one who knows darkness and has faced it in himself and overcome it
This is how I imagine Martian Manhunter fighting. Absolute unit that tries to settle it first but brings the beatdown if it fails with a graceful yet brutal precision.
They are all soldiers Zod was bred to be a general Aka a fearless leader Superman’s father just had his extra points thrown into science and not charisma haha
