@@alextm5669 I think the way they’ll do Martian Manhunter if they ever get to would to give him his special abilities, make his weakness to fire quite big and make him quite a lot off superman in terms of strength, speed and durability. Superman is still in many peoples’ minds the strongest, and they wouldn’t just make a seemingly random comic hero more powerful. It’s a shame, but even though MM is my favourite superhero (except for Batman of course) I grew up with superman being the definition of a powerful hero and I want him to be the strongest. Either way, it will be cool seeing his amazing and highly underrated character be depicted in live action if we ever do🤞

Bonzulac When he's Clark Kent with his mom he has a genuine smile as well as at the end of the film. Plus that awesome scene where he destroyed the world generator was inspiring as hell, definitely felt like Superman there. When he flew for the first time and had this beaming smile on his face. There were very Superman-ish moments in this film, it's really not that bad. Especially after BvS, I think you could grow a better appreciation of this movie if you saw it again.

I was speaking specifically of the performance of Cavill, not ones and zeros flying around other ones and zeros. I think Cavill has been cheated from playing Superman, and I'll be damned if I watch this pile of fucking shit again. As far as the score and CG producing inspiring moments, I'll just watch the trailer for that. It's still on RU-vid, and those few moments of inspiration in the movie are far better served by a three minute run time.

cavills performance is simple. he's evolving to become the superman that we recognize in the comics. unlike other superman films where we never really got to see the development. basically in this movie he isn't perfect(obviously), but its realistic in that sense. He makes mistakes but he's going with it and doing the best he can. so of course he isn't going to be the "comic superman" in the first movie. or even the second(bvs).

Except Man of Steel and BvS were, in my opinion, great movies and Zack Snyder is, in my opinion, a great director.

Man of Steel was solid but BvS was absolutely horrible. Zack is only good when he's given guidelines on what he's allowed to do or when he's adapting somebody else's work. BvS and Sucker Punch are an example of what he does when he makes up his own story, and it's not good. I've heard he'll be getting the same treatment for JL that he got here, and that makes me quite pleased.
