Como olvidar el sonido de las campanillas indicando que el angel habia por fin ganado sus alas en "Que bello es vivir" o cuando Robin Williams toma conciencia que está frente a su amada hija y no delante de una azafata en "Mas allá de los sueños". Y "Big Fish" cuando el padre le pide a su hijo que le invente una historia para mejor morir, invirtiendo los papeles...ya el hijo era el padre

I remember hearing this song from the movie credits in 2004 when I was at Bossier City at the Isle of Capri. I couldn't get tune out my head so I went and bought Big Fish, and to this day it is one my favorite movies. The song was perfect for this movie. Tim Burton is such a great film maker.

That was amazing! I'll never forget the first time I watched that movie, and couldn't stop it as the credits rolled because that guitar part grabbed me right away, and I listened to the whole song. Then I went back and listened to it again. Then again. Literally. What a perfect "exit music" song. SO sad. But not.
Epic song from a epic movie, reminds me of my father & our difficult family relationship. When I saw the movie in the first time (Autmn 07) I was a teen & now my father is 60 in the next days. He's also a fisherman & often tells random stories, but he's only so confused because his parents didn't give him an easy life...
I cannot count how many times I've seen this movie and this song gets me everttime. It completes me in a way but pushes me to know a goid life is ahead. Never give up.

Hari ni, aku diberi kesempatan berjumpa dgn ayah setelah hampir 5 bulan tak dpt blk ke kampung kerana PKP dan jugak kesibukan bekerja. Entah mcm mana, mlm ni boleh pulak aku menonton filem Big Fish ni. Tetiba, aku jadi sebak. Ayah dah makin tua. Kisah dlm filem ni, sedikit sebanyak, ada persamaan spt hubungan aku dgn ayah aku. Esta película siempre la he asociado a mi padre, un soñador muchas veces incomprendido. Incluso por nosotros, sus hijos. Pero de alguna manera descubrimos que todas sus engrandecidas historias eran para nosotros su más hermosa verdad. esta fue una de las peliculas que recordare por el resto de mi vida, una obra maestra y amo esa cancion, es un excelente soundtrack... a veces la fantasia puede ser realidad si sabes creer en ella.

Esta película me indentifica tanto, muchos años dure enfadado con mi padre por su alcoholismo, muchos años no le hable, mi mamá me enseñó que está bien estar enojado pero no está bien vivir con rencores, de repente un día el rencor se apagó y solo me queda decir que mi papá apesar de mis rencores jamás me ha dejado de amar
Big Fish nos muestra un hombre que muchos anhelamos ser, que padre, que persona, que amigo, que buen esposo y ciudadano en fin una estrella de persona.
I had found the book in a library, read it, for some reason it stuck with me. Then my father passed away, and I still had this book in my mind, because the stories , all the stories that my father would tell us throughout our childhood , it transported me to another land, another place, one which I could not see in real life. Then found that the book was translated into this movie. Even now, I have not seen the movie whole, because, I would need a dark dark room, and a big dark room, where I will be alone, because I will cry throughout, and knowing that this song is in it, i will not be able to come out of the room a sane person.
I love this movie and this song too...one of the greateast movie ever... Just poetry trasposed in cellulose and vinile... I think sometimes movies and songs have the faculty to expose our mood how we are not able to do...
I am with you in prayers, my father passed away this weekend. Called Big Fish, because this was one of his favourites movies and in so many ways his life story was similar. I am very sad but sure he is in Heaven with Dear Lord, be strong he will be always by your side.
Incredible song. A movie I've seen a few times and can't watch anymore. Not for losing my dad but knowing my days are shorter. My 2 sons and I are very close and it pains me to know they will hurt when I'm gone. They aren't kids anymore and the years are clicking off. Every one of them going faster than the last.
I choke up at the end every time. I own the movie but have only watched it 4 or 5 times. Usually turn it off once they end up in the hospital at the end. That final phone call is one I dread ever needing to make.
Acabo de ver esta película en la tv. Siempre que la pasaban decia:algún dia la veré, pero seguro q tampoco es muy buena...cuestion que quedé enganchadisimo con la historia y el final ufff me lloré la vida, hace rato que no me ponía así menos con una película. Pero no fui el único por suerte xD. Para mi en mi opinión, la mejor pelicula que he visto de Tim Burton desde el El Joven Manos de Tijeras.
..Me hace pensar demasiado esta canción, es la mejor sin duda, para mi vida, lo que estoy pasando, y tal.. y me hace valorar las cosas de la vida, Big Fish, también me hace valorar todo.. todo tiene un límite, pero para la vida, es ilimitada, si lo sabes disfrutar, me encanta esta canción.
