Recently I spent the day in Memphis. Though I made no friends, I made some enemies. That’s Biblical Evangelism (John 15:18-21). Memphis is Tennessee’s next best thing to Los Angeles, which is a great place for the Lord’s people to intervene or interpose with the Gospel.
No matter where we may be, Paul charged Timothy then, and the church now, to be instantly ready to preach the Word in and out of season. To also reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all suffering doctrine (2 Timothy 4:1-5).
While evangelizing the people at the pumps at this gas station, I heard some commotion inside. My investigation revealed an angry black man was provoking employees to fight. He then called them the 'N' word and “racist.” The fact is, he was the racial agitator. Nonetheless, I audibly addressed them, and gave him this Gospel tract, as well as many others.
