soul is purus(unchangeable) and nature is prakriti (chargeable ) and all living things are made by combination of purus and prakriti , and purus and prakriti is made by brahm tatv(brahm elemant/universe basic elements). Whole universe is body part of god and it's made by brahm tatv(the combination of purus and prakriti) . we are also combination of purus and prakriti.
The explanation is wrong, as other comments pointed already. In western terms, Purush is Essence, Prakriti is substance. It is also the distinction between "form" and "matter" in scholastic philosophy or the aristotelian designation of "act" and "potency". Plato's ideas are also equivalent to Purush. It's also the difference between quality (Purush) and quantity (Prakriti). Purush/Âtma is the supreme principle, Prakriti it's manifestation. For more and deeper explanation, refer to chapter 2 of "the reign of quantity" from René Guénon, whose works are absolutely flawless.
Purusha here has been incorrectly translated as a man (from the physical world). Purusha means enjoyer and the real enjoyer in the existence is only Lord Vishnu. He has been called Adi Purusham (supreme enjoyer). All the rest of the creation is Prakriti (feminine), as we are all dependent on the god for everything, thus every material creation (23 elements of Samkhya Philosophy) comes under the Prakriti, but Purusha stands out. The Purusha (Vishu) is not made up of flesh (Prakriti) as we humans are, he is made of up the same substance like a soul. He doesn't bleed, nor does he excrete. He is immortal and not bound by the laws of material nature.
You failed to understand prakriti and purusha. In every living being both are present, life is not possible without either of them. Prakriti represent all matter and energy, while purusha represent consciousness.
It's rather erroneous to merely term purusha as "man", it's more accurate to state "Life vs Nature" or "Awareness vs Energy" because any being regardless man or any other organisms can be considered purush. So, a leopard devouring a human is not purusha vs prakriti per se but rather different "forms" of purusha interacting within the domain of prakriti. Different "forms" of purusha is merely a figurative term of "forms" to reflect the varying levels of awareness & consciousness but purusha essentially is unchanging, unmanifest, still & eternal. Prakriti is the opposite changing, manifest in motion & impermanent. Hence, forms are Prakriti but arise due the illusionary power of Maya. Both are pivotal for existence to be experienced. So, it's the organism and the environment relationship. That might explain many people's dissatisfaction with the video.
before watching this vedio i was thinking about the pure distinction between the purusha and prakirti. but it is not so. the explanation in this vedio is one and the same thing.this is the explanation of prakirti only including grossness of the universe which include the man and animal kingdom as well as inanimate kingdom.the pure meaning of the purusha is the god who created the universe and he is in every creature called the atma(soul), the subtle aspect of the creation. i would appreciate if you bring out that difference.
Prakriti as compared with Purusha: (Wikipedia) Prakrti , also Prakriti (IAST: Prakṛti), means "nature",[1][2] and refers to the primal matter with three different innate qualities (Guṇas) whose equilibrium is the basis of all observed empirical reality.[1][3] Guṇa (Sanskrit: गुण) depending on the context means 'string, thread or strand', or 'virtue, merit, excellence', or 'quality, peculiarity, attribute, property'.[1][2] There are three gunas that have always been and continue to be present in all things and beings in the world.[3] These three gunas are called: sattva (goodness, constructive, harmonious), rajas (passion, active, confused), and tamas (darkness, destructive, chaotic).[4] Sattva is the quality of balance, harmony, goodness, purity, universalizing, holistic, constructive, creative, building, positive attitude, luminous, serenity, being-ness, peaceful, virtuous.[3][4][5] Rajas is the quality of passion, activity, neither good nor bad and sometimes either, self-centeredness, egoistic, individualizing, driven, moving, dynamic.[6][7] Tamas is the quality of imbalance, disorder, chaos, anxiety, impure, destructive, delusion, negative, dull or inactive, apathy, inertia or lethargy, violent, vicious, ignorant.[8] Prakriti contrasts with Purusha which is pure awareness and metaphysical consciousness.[1] Purusha (Sanskrit puruṣa, पुरुष) is a complex concept whose meaning evolved in Vedic and Upanishadic times. Depending on source and historical timeline, it means the cosmic man or Self, Consciousness, and Universal Principle.[1][2][3] -- People live their lives in varying ratios of Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas, depending on how much they pay intellectual attention to their perspective of reality over their perception of reality. That is Prakriti. When people move their perception of reality to the forefront when formulating decisions regarding their life, that gains them access to Purusha. Find Your Purusha, by seeking to elevate your perception to a higher level over your Prakriti. In consequence, you will experience aha moments of comprehension, of ‘knowing’ that you can know, rather than just ‘believing’ that you can know. Kirby 122716 9:45 am pst.
To note the thing that purusha and prakrati is being mentioned under a lot of Indic philosophies with a lot of different meanings but mostly retained same which is completely not what this video says it is... So read about samkhya..it defines these concepts more clearly
Totally wrong understanding of the concepts. Prakriti simply means matter and purusha means conscious energy. Read authentic scholars not devdatt patnayak. 🙏

Still we don't truly recognize the prime character of purusha . Domination and rule is a form of protection for eternal feminine business so purusha is a slave of prakriti . Hey purusha has no mother or parents or lover purush is self sufficient .
Please report this video because it is spreading wrong information just using English word man as meaning of purush whose real meaning is (masculine energy /masculine tavta /pure consciousness/ shiva tatva) and it uses English word nature (environment) for Prakriti whose real meaning is behaviour/nature of a soul(feminine energy /shakti tatv/creation energy/ urja ). Shiva is called parma purusha(divine consciousness). Adishakti is called parma Prakrit (divine energy). This video is sharing misleading and incorrect information about Hinduism. Please report this video. And save original dharma.
Your concept of Purusha is wrong. Purusha is the consciousness/spirit/soul/atma/God. Here God is not the idol God or any specific God. It can be understood after the recognition that you are the Brahman(not Brahmin), the everlasting spirit, or the "witnesser" of all the appearances/Prakriti. Prakriti comprises of Sattva, Rajas and Tamas, including all the matter.
Topic Purush And Prakriti is Highly Gross, SUBTLE and it's Connected To The Formation Of The Unmanifest Universe(Brahman) And and Its Manifest Form Material Nature(Shakti or Maya) The Explanation In This Video Is Totally Absurd
