Solo hike from Finse to Ustaoset in mid august, the trail measures to 55km but including some exploring and the walking to and from my house I had a total of 62km in two days. I started from Finse at 10:30 and arrived at Ustaoset some time before 18:00 the next day. Pack weight with food (3 days) and water 10kg. Hope you enjoy the views!

That first stretch looked like an easy place to twist an ankle. I always thought Norway would be all forest. Thank you for taking us along on such an awesome hike, Fredrik. Stay safe and stay cool

Some parts of the country there are forests but a lot of it is pretty rocky!

Loved the hike, thanks for taking us along with you. Beautiful scenery, I've never been anywhere like that with no trees in sight. I assumed the early settlers there were only able to build stone shelters, sure enough you found one, very cool!

Appreciate you watching! These huts were built by people traveling up there back in the day, always fun to see some historical sites.

Real nice looking place! Super awesome scenery. Extensive boulder-fields out there, are they granite? Best time of year!

It sure is! Last half of july and first half of august is the best time to be up there, rest of year its a good posibility for snow. Doing over 60km in two days was pushing my limits, but fun! Got a good sunburn on my nose too…

Great hike! You made some good kilometers there. Must be harsh place in winter.

There is a lot of snow up there in winter, spring and autumn, might do a snow shoe camp up there this winter If I feel motivated enough hehe! 33 km was close to my limit for a single day, probably would not have made it past 40.

Also happy with how light a load I carried, with food (3 days rations) and water starting out it was about 10kg and had almost 3000 calories left in the pack when I got back home.

Calling it 39 miles across wild Norway in two days would get more views? Gorgeous and I bet you felt great at the end

Hardangervidda is a popular topic among Norwegians so I might get some views, my general hiking nobody ever watches. I felt pretty tired in the end! I’ll do a gear video too, that should be popular.

@@ThePreparedNorseman could you upload two versions of some of these with both languages? I want to see you grow as there are loads of channels like yours that are huge but nowhere near as good

@@HuplesCat Thanks! I was thinking of uploading some stuff in Norwegian but have not got around to it yet. Would put english subtiles in that case, so more effort also… Helsinkipop has some like that.

39 miles in two days? With a base weight of 12lbs? Watch this out of shape norseman walk, and then walk some more!

In kilometres it’s longer!

@@HuplesCat I’m hoping the people who knows kilometers manages to have a look in the video description. The mile crowd needs a bit more help.
