I had a root canal a few days ago and had hypochlorite leak through the apex during the procedure. It was very painful and 4 days later still painful. No swelling. This video was very interesting and helpful. I know much better now of what to expect and how to treat it better. Good job doc! I will keep drinking my cataflam and antibiotics.

i just had this accident, but somehow the dentist drilled through in to my sinus doing a root canel then injected it right in to my sinus, tons of black brown stuff came out my nose.. i asked him to reopen it and flush it but he said it doesnt need to be done. i dunno what to do. im gonna try another dentist tommorrow i guess :( luckly im not super swollen but my sinus does feel messed

Thank you for sharing your experience. Sometimes the extent of extrusion of the solution is very minimal and does not require reentry. You can also get a second opinion to get your condition assessed.

This video is to educate and provide information of root canal treatment. Im sure your Dentist will handle you with care. Root canals are safe procedures
