I understand the police in Germany have started wearing bodycams and it's made life so much easier for them and the courts. They may need to rethink that law since in many countries like Canada, there's no expectation of privacy in public, except when using the bathroom or a changeroom. Some people film in public just to be annoying but lots of times if they catch criminals in the act on film, again it makes life so much easier for the cops, courts and victims of crimes alike. Could you look at it this way? What would you do if someone stole your property or assaulted you and you didn't catch it on film but you knew what they look like and possibly who they are? The cops would have a hard time figuring out who did it if ever or the perpetrator could just simply lie and have little to no evidence to convict them. Cameras make it much harder for criminals to get away with their bad behaviour. Here's another example. Did you know that in Russia you get a discount on your auto insurance if you have a dashcam and have it recording every second your driving? An estimated 1 million vehicles in Russia have dashcams as a result and also because people there are paranoid about their government and police corruption. It also makes life much easier for the courts when they have a crash caught on tape because then they know how it really happened and who was responsible. Amazing it's not like that in the USA since many Americans feel the same way about their government and police.

There are so many real bad people out there. I've watched one too many "Karen" videos... there's no need to instigate and fabricate. She comes off as fake to me. I love dogs. I've rescued dogs out of cars (one hanging by her neck when she jumped out of the window of a parked car while leashed in). If an animal is in distress, use your phone to call for help, not record for entertainment. If you do think it should be filmed, be a good witness and say out loud where/when/temperature. Sorry, but if you're really worried about an animal's life, you don't behave like the woman filming.

Really!? So it’s fine to leave a living breathing soul to suffer in a hot car when we as humans wouldn’t sit in the same car without the air conditioning on or at the very least having windows down all the way!? Having an animal is the very same responsibility as having a child! It feels and hurts just like us! That dog didn’t choose them as parents they chose to get the dog then therefore should have some common sense about taking care of the dog!
