Mami..namaskaram. How to identify the difference between the kasturi manjal..(used for skin, bath powder) and turmeric used for cooking. Are both same or different.? Kindly clarify my doubt. Would like to prepare turmeric powder in home. Thanks.
Kullikum manjal will b in one piece like mini egg shape .......cooking manjal( pongal manjal) will look like ginger root ....nees kitchen like your ammas videos nd explanation ....whycant v just keep in sunlight without doing all this process
Pasu manjal, when u grate a little using ur fingers u will find bright yellow color. Kasturi manjal, when u grate a little u will find light yellow color. Both aroma is different. Anyone can find out. Mainly color makes the difference. As far as I know. 😊
