Mandala is one of the most fascinating piece of art - and I could not resist making a Mandala Embroidery Hoop. I wanted to do this ever since I started my embroidery Kit and Hoop business. The entire design is stitched using only one stitch - Back Stitch Embroidery.
Color used is Anchor No. 159/DMC No. 162
Yarn: 3 Yarns
How to do a Back Stitch?
1. Step 1: Start the stitch from left to right
2. Step2: Bring the needle up at 1 and then bring it down at 2
3. Step 3: Move left and bring needle up at 3, then back down at 1
4. Step 4: Continue stitching.
Tips:
Continue stitching in the same manner, making equal length of stitch in step 3, until you reach the end point of your line.
Make shorter stitches for curvy lines for a more rounded curve.
