She went on to become one of the greatest Christian artists of our day, but I will always remember the day she taught the world to forgive like Jesus. RIP Queen.
Amen!!! God used her on this show. She was a vessel of the Spirit. I purchased her book Saturday. I can’t put it down. Rip Sister. Your work will live on!!!!!
How disgusting of Simon to body shame her because she suffered a lot of low self-worth because of her weight. But thank God she showed CHRIST'S love and forgiveness towards him, she was such a great witness for Christ! RIP beautiful lady!
Amen…Like I tell my students, happy people don’t have to stoop so low to make themselves feel high. She was one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met and I’m so glad I can listen to her voice as often as I’d like.
She’s struggled with her weight due to binge eating to cope with sexual abuse and rape from a young age. Heartbreaking 💔 always be kind you never know what someone is going through. God bless
You are so right. Lost my mum a few years back and my one sister who was grieving just like the rest of us became very aggressive and angry but not towards me because my then I had completely cut her off because I did not want the toxicity in my life and told her the next time one of sees each again we may deceased or near dying. Unfortunately 2 years later the next time I saw her and talked to her she was in a hospice in an intubated state and transitioning and she passed away 2 days later of cancer. All that time she had been battling cancer and no one knew. Now I am left to grieve and I feel so horrible that I mentally cannot get out of this rut. If only I had been there for her when she reached out to me and I never responded to her message. Whew... My life has been nothing but a struggle ever since. I find myself some days in really really deep depression.
@@imhereforitall9218 I am so sorry of your pain. Please reach out to talk to someone who can help. I wish you comfort and healing as you cope with your loss.
This is my first time seeing this. Forgiveness in action, and she was not afraid to speak of her faith even then. What an example. We miss you, Mandisa!
04/30/2024- Wow! Me too. I guess this is one of those edited outs that they are releasing now given the circumstances. Man... I literally remember this audition of hers. It was everything. Still gives me chills. wow.
By forgiving Simon, Mandisa was not only right with God, but she was also an incredible witness to the judges and everyone watching. Great job Mandisa, I hope we can all learn from her (especially me).
He may have made fun of her but God was on her side So go ahead and laugh because God had bigger plans for her. She sing for God Almighty so in your faces all who judged her.
Mandisa is a beautiful woman and I am so sorry that she wasted one tear on that despicable man Simon Cowell. Simon thinks that he is all that?? Not even close.
Agreed. Simon is so rude to people. Forget blunt. He's just straight up rude. But mandisa has a heart of gold. I may not be a christian but I'll always love her!
@@gracie872 you can always try it. 😊 It doesn't guarantee an easier life but the retirement benefits outweigh any of the present circumstances. Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
She represented Jesus well. She used her gift for God. She was a Champion and Advocate for Mental Health in Christianity. We will deeply miss you. Thank you, Mandisa, for everything.
@Cajunomics I agree some people laugh or smile in uncomfortable situations. This may or may not have been the case either way he should have come to her defense and I agree with you Mandisa held herself with such class and dignity. I love her ♥️
Though Mandisa has two grammy awards now in her hands and simon cowell not even one. Thats how God moves when someone shows His Charecter for all to see.
Basically 😂😅😊😊😊 that's what she do when someone probably offends her I noticed she was sarcastic and kind of shady too lmaoo at least she prayed for him 🙏🙏🙏 That was hilarious
Well he did say he apologized and he seemed rightly embarrassed by the reality of his words' impact. And she forgave him even without needing his apology. I don't know what else he should have done or said in this moment, his main responsibility was to make no further comments about her appearance which I don't think he did. I don't recall him making jokes about anyone's weight in future seasons either but I could definitely be wrong. Anyway I wouldn't have particularly cared to hear Simon speak more, this moment is about Mandisa extending grace to someone who didn't ask for it or deserve it.
She was the only woman and contestant who truly humbled Simon on that show. She was a beautiful example of love, grace and faith in action and the world will truly miss her. Fly high beautiful Mandisa
Mandisa is now Famous in her own Right and one great song she sings on is "i dont wanna lose my soul" by Toby Mac...but she has Records of her own out now too.
She certainly hearkened to Jesus command and the Holy Spirit gave her wisdom to utter such words to Simon and he was humble enough to recognized he did wrong. I love them all.
Ya` gotta` love this lady!! her faith and grace are as big as her voice. Mandisa, "Thank you for blessing us with the time we got to share with you here on earth but now You will be blessed in heaven "
Society changed overnight and we all witnessed it, Thank you Mandissa for being the salt and light of the world my 4year daughter listens to goodmorning before school 😢😢😂😊
Came to watch this just because I heard she died! I wonder if after forgiving, she got over the self image issues though. I am so tearing up for the beautiful soul that made me sing so loudly while driving😢
I heard about this, and how she dealt. This is the highest class of individual that humanity could hope for. Came in letting him know that she knew what he said. Then rained grace on him, in the name of Jesus. That’s pure beauty.
I remember watching this as it happened and thought how awful that was of Simon to say that to her “behind” her back after her audition. She handled it very well. Now she’s with King Jesus 🥲
I miss her so much. Not only did Simon need to apologize but Randy sat in his lil chair and laughed at Simon's comments. It's like high school all over again for them two😡
@@user-pm3rs6tw7p he said "I apologize" after he was highly encouraged to do so, and he rolled his eyes as he said it. It wasn't genuine and it's different, at least to me, than a heartfelt "I am sorry".
She told him in the beginning tho 😂😅😊😊😊❤ with she don't need a bigger stage comment 😭😭 I was actually embarrassed for him at one point LMAOO but the part where she said she cried got me Aww
