Lovely lonesome sound here-if you squint your ears, you can hear this in mono, from the great old radio days! But we're so much luckier to have it in stereo, that we don't really know it! This would sound great either way! Thank you!
Forget all that manufactured tin pan ally pop, sit back & enjoy some real music for a change. Love the harmonies & the mandolin playing in 'Old Ties & Companions!
Intro is Am, C, F, and back to Am. The verse is Am, C, F, Am, C, F, Am, G, F. And starting at "darling" it's a walk-down C, B, and back to Am to start the intro progression with the fiddle again. Pretty sure it just repeats the same way throughout the song. Unless you're talking about adjusting Old Ties and Companions to be played with a capo, in which case it would depend on the placement of the capo.
