For Canada Day, here’s a reel classic Québécois tune that’s played all over North America, “Reel de Tadoussac”. It comes from the repertoire of Joseph Allard and Isidore Soucy and most French-Canadian players know this tune. It’s also known as “Glise de Sherbrooke” in contra dance tune circles. It’s a real sweet reel on the mandolin!
