Maneskin - The Loneliest VOCAL COACH REACTION AND VOCAL ANALYSIS  

Damiano performed this song perfectly live in London at premier of single. When he sang it for second time. It's just beautiful. And heartbreaking version in Mexico. He was crying for his loss and it was extended version with one more solo of Thomas. That was just an another dimention.

His grandfather died a couple of days ago and Damiano nearly broke down singing this for the first time live on their tour in Mexico.

I loved your reaction. Well, Damiano used the low and clean voice at other times, usually at the beginning of other ballads in Italian, but in a different way, because the effect he wanted to achieve was different. For example in "Coraline" and in "Torna a casa" and also a little bit in "If I can dream". I think the real magic he gets is in the way he articulates and accents some words, which is what would use an actor more than a singer. Thomas' solo, with the guitar crying desperately and the mandolin effect (and that he didn't get from Tom Morello) is shocking.

In an interview Damiano and Thomas both talked how this song let them experiment with new sounds. One of my fave parts of the band is how they keep trying nex things.

Hi! Love Maneskin and always love your reactions! Your break down of Damianos singing is the best! I have seen them live a two times and wish I could in LA on the 7th but I’ll have to wait 😢 I love all that they do from Italian to English because it’s all different but in all the right ways for me at least. Each song brings out a different feeling but the passion and talent always makes me feel the same excitement and passion. I’ve listened to everything! More times than I can count and Italian has a piece of maneskin that I don’t know if the English songs will ever have but not in a bad way! I think Italian language is on another level of expressing passion and poetic lyrics compared to English. I don’t know lol just my thoughts. Like I said I love all that they do! When you mentioned the way Damiano started the song and how it is not something they usually do well you are right! Lol In an interview they were all asked what the favorite part of the song was and damiano said the the intro because he never does it or rarely so it was exciting for him. They always says he’s the pop one of the group which bring another variety to what they do. Ok that was a lot!! You should watch the live performance a few days ago in Mexico City!! They kick off the loud Kids tour with a new song from the new album!! Kook Kids! Totally different from what we are used too! Or maybe a mix of a lot of the things they’ve done in earlier days.
