This month, I am looking forward to: - Innocent - Takopi's Original Sin - Orb: On The Movement Of The Earth - Gannibal - Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen - Lonely Castle In The Mirror
I read all of The Ichinose Family's Deadly Sins and I read the first 6 chapters of Takopis Original Sin and I want to read more of this dudes manga, they are such a great and super promising mangaka
I'm excited for Tekkonkinkreet! Also, I'm hoping Yoshikazu Ebisu's I Wish I Was Stupid by Breakdown Press gets released in North America soon. Also, I'm hoping Shintaro Kago's Parasitic City #1 drops soon, it was supposed to be released in October....
Always appreciate these videos, Ryley! And I can’t wait for Tekkonkinkreet! Absolutely love Taiyō Matsumoto’s work and have been longing for this to be back in print.
I recently read the first omnibus of Orange and I loved it. Normally, I would go the cheaper route and just collect the second omnibus and the individual volumes of the sequel series, but I really did not like the omnibus format. It was so awkward to read and it actually hurt my hands to hold it, so I'm planning to get the box set. I'm hoping it will go on sale during the holidays and I won't have to pay retail price for it.
Black Knight Parade, Sakura Saku, and Kekkomkonkreet are all on my radar now! Can’t wait to check them out. Wouldn’t have known about them without you!
I'm definitely getting Takopi's Original Sin, even though I didn't really like Ichinose Family (I liked it at first, but it fizzled out imo). Origin looks interesting, and I may pickup Hellsing. Thanks for these buyer's guides. I usually know what I'm getting, but you always mention something that's new to me, like the Orange box set. I would love to have that!
Just wanted to point out that Unordinary is also coming out this month. It's not really a manga, but the series is great so I recommend checking it out. It has a similar premise to My Hero Academia, but it focuses more on the psychology of the main character.
I've been reading 365 Days to The Wedding for a while and it's AMAZING! It has a very personal, down-to-earth tone and naturalistic drama that really hits the deeper you get into it. Highly recommended!
genuinely my favorite announcement here was paperback hellsing. i like the big hardcovers but i also really like to see the original volume art on the cover. now time for jojo to do the same :)
ik it's not the same publisher but can they please give us dorohedoro box sets x.x excited to see cells at work omnis! so easy and nice to pick up. I have the box set, she's gorg
I'm afraid to deal with in stock trades again. I received horrible customer services a few years ago. Hearing that you deal with them I hope it has improved. Crunchyroll store is a mess. Looking for a new vendor. Your videos are helpful. Thanks.
Personally I’m only going to pick up Heaven Official’s Blessing Volume 8 (Barnes and Noble Exclusive Edition) outside of that I might pick up Ennead (Hardcover). Great video as well
Highly dislike seven seas business tactic of making some individual volumes of both ancient magus and made in abyss to force people into buying box set
Hey can you tell me what the series is in the camera, to your left, my right when I’m watching? It looks like 4-5 big oversize volumes and there’s an individual face in the middle of each spine? Just feel like they look interesting and would want to know what they are if that’s ok?
Innocent is preordered just now. Thanks for letting us know!!! Also, are you on Instagram? I would love to give you a boost to publishers when I get books you tell us about but am not on twitter/x
The Tekkonkinkreet hardcover better not have the horrible bleedthrough pages like the paperback. Then I will buy it. Can’t wait for Innocent; just read #DRCL. What a great mangaka. More Tezuke is always good. And 11 more series I want to try. Busy month!
