The two VHS tapes 2:56, Stand by Me and Mad Max. More homage to the 80's. Mad Max is a dystopian film and Stand by Me starred River Phoenix who died of a drug overdose. Stand by Me was also about a kid that lost his brother and was neglected by his parents.

WTF! I will only start to watch a series when it’s in at least a second season, At least this way I won’t be disappointed if it’s not renewed! That being said I loved your recaps but I am so disappointed you have not kept up with them.

3 years later and you never came through for the rest of the episodes, Think Story. Sad. Of all the various clips for Maniac here on YT, I feel like you've got the best handle on things. Picking up the right details without and red herrings or poor assessments. Would appreciate hearing your takes more than these other folks. But I fear that time has passed. Sad.

G.R.T.A = Greta without E(mpathy) Just made this connection when James modeled GRTA after his mom, and Azumi said she added a bit of empathy to GRTA in a later update. That would suggest that when GRTA was first named and created, she had no empathy which led to a bunch of failed iterations.

GRTA reminds me of GTCA, the genetic base-components. In genetics the letter R substitutes for any base (G, T, C or A). Maybe this is completly irrelevant though

Wait is the whole season there?

Annie has Borderline Personality, triggered by her mother leaving her and her sister. Annie had problems long before becoming addicted to pill A. Her father is literally displaying Avoidant Personality Disorder which would again impact Annie's BPD which is an illness based around Abandonment. Interestingly she has become addicted to the A pill, as her father hides in an A void when she really needs him. This whole series is about mental illness, A B C Clusters, Freudian, Pop, NLP.....it's basically all about psychology yet doesn't get mentioned in this 'explanation' at all, which is very odd.

Yo thinkstory. I know your not gonna read this but how many of these analyzation vids are you gonna do? Not to say they're bad but I prefer your character arc and storytelling videos.
