I've been having an excruciatingly hard time dealing with things a lot of bad people did to me when I was a child, and a "family" where abuse was an institution that everyone participated in and I couldn't break away from them until I was 42. I'm 46 now. The things you said about in this video have helped me more than I can ever express! It will take some time to let things sink into my being but they will and I will be a lot more free from the poison of them than ever. I wrote down so many things you said so I can remember them and make them a part of me. I feel so much freer already! Thank you so much!!!!!

Thank you for your video. I have some similar history as you. You're so brave to put it out there. The pressure is to keep quiet and pretend all is ok. Even when the perpetrator is a family member. I know I felt/feel like an object, not really a worthy person from my experiences I can only imagine how you must feel but we have to remember that the issue was them, not us! I can tell you are a caring person and was given the gift (or fought for) of being able to speak up. Thank you, you are a blessing to me today!

Thank you so much for sharing this and being so fucking honest. I just stumbled upon this because I am still dealing with my own sexual abuse issues and you said things that have been so hard for me to admit. The fact that it doesn't always feel bad. I KNOW, in my heart that this is wrong and what happened to me is wrong but sexually I have been so messed up from what happened to me. I've put myself back in similar situations out of my own confusion and I have ultimately hurt myself more. But listening to you, you sound so strong and I believe everything you say and just as the other girl said I clung to every word you said because you are so honest. And I truly needed to hear that I am not alone. So thank you.

Thanks. Really moved me. I can relate to your story. Been in denial for over 30 years not wanting to admit or believe that awful things happened to me and a little sister. Finally getting some professional help, a true blessing. You mentioned the love and support of your husband, that he loves you just as you are, my wife, thanks be to God, still loves me just as I am, I finally told her my story, been married to her over 25 years but never told her, it was upsetting for her to hear what happened, but she is so supportive of me expressing my feelings, she says that it has helped her connect the dots and understand some of my quirks. I was afraid she would hate me if I ever told her, but she says she loves me even more. Thanks for your great post, I get it.

I am very impressed with the fact you have displayed total honesty and I have to extend an awesome amount of gratitude towards your personality and disposition and last but not least I admire your courage to tell us what we need to know about the issue in question. I'm sorry that you had to go through this. You tell it like it is or how it was. I have experience in this area that occurred many years ago and I still have thoughts of my ordeal and this was over 50 years ago. Like you I am never going to forget what happened but I have to admit that I liked the way I felt so I was a kid then I am grown now and I have to realize that I have been using the thoughts of how it felt so good and so I use these to get a climax. I'm not going to apologise for the way I think because of my past experience as long as it remains a thought. You know I'm telling the real. You are going to be affected by the way you were feeling back then and we both know that we liked it so we both know that we think about it when we need to. I'm not going to lie and say that I love hearing about others and what they went through. I would be lying if I said I don't get aroused. I have to keep it real with myself.

I grew up with a lot of verbal abuse before developing dissociative identity disorder when I was sexually abused a while back. I remember nearly none of it because of dissociation, but I have flashbacks sometimes, where my mind has no thoughts, just terror. Everyone I know calls them body memories. Also, I don't know why, but I find your voice very relaxing. Just saying, 😉

Your story has inspired me to bring what happened to me out to the light. I too was molested as a child and later was raped as a preteen by a family member. What happened was wrong. And now the creep who did these things to me has kids. And I refuse to remain silent any longer because he could easily be abusing his own innocent children. My parents recently found out what happened because I told them. So currently we are seeking justice. Bless you and never stop what your doing.

I will be writing you a letter this weekend, I know completely where your coming from, I was 14 and it was my 1st time .Anyway, on a different note, I went to the dollar store today and picked up the krispy creme candles, and they smell soo good, now i want a donut LOL. Its bad I've watch true story movies about issues like you experienced, we somehow put those negatives thoughts away that we experience in life even when bad things happen as we get older like I've experienced in my teens I just never let it get to me. Are you in a porch so no kids can hear you? i just figured I heard a kid. messy background.

I wish moms would stop leaving their children with these new bfs without proper vetting. Not that anyone can ever be 100% sure BUT you can spend lots and lots of time ensuring you know as much about the person as you can. It took YEARS before I left my daughter with my bf. While we were dating as she was a baby he wouldn’t change her, bathe her, nada. Still won’t and she’s 6. Women think omg I got a new bf and he’s such a good surrogate “dad” and takes the load off of me by helping with bathing and dressing her etc. NOPE. He never has and never will. Even now five years on and I’d trust him fully with both my kids WE still won’t allow her in the bed with us. Makes her always have clothes on. Doesn’t approve of her sports bras I give her for gymnastics. He isn’t about. We don’t want there to EVER BE a shadow of a doubt that there was ANYTHING inappropriate happening. Again not blaming your mother. JUST in general i just see wayyyyyy too many women leaving their kids with their bfs and they are molested beaten or murdered by them. It breaks my heart. It’s our job to PROTECT our kids. I keep my kids as close as possible. We can do all possible and it can still happen i know that. But I don’t see taking the unnecessary risk.
