There is definitely no reason for keeping and she is a powerful actress if you've seen 'Get Out'. When they show the callings, sometimes they are heard in Cal's voice. I noticed this on the "Go to her" calling and thought that particular calling seemed to be coming from Cal.

honestly i feel like her death could work, maybe as a way for the passangers to realise that maybe the calling dont always lead to good things or that they wont protect them from anything. also it would be quite fitting, they were all preocupied with saving the passangers from the death date they let grace, someone about whose safety they werent worrying about die. trying to protect eden, her child is also a fitting way to go, since that was her main purpose the entire show. there may be some bias there since i dont really like grace as a caracter but i belive it makes sense

I don't know which show you saw, but I definitely saw him crying. He was already crying on the plane, because he knew his mom was going to die. He was trying to comfort her, so she would pass peacefully, that's why he wasn't screaming and crying at the top of his lungs. You really think that he wouldn't feel the anguish of his own mother dying? And btw: he is learning with the rest of the passengers what really happened on that flight. Yes, he can see predict things, before they happen, but he can only see so far ahead, so no, he couldn't figure it out, as much as he wants to.

I have now seen half of season 5 and I would have loved Cal to be clearer with his family and/or with Saanvi and Vence about whether he has actual memory/experience of living those 5 and a half years, or he has the perception of just popping out years later like all the 828 passengers in season 1. The first option seems more likely, since: a) he has physically changed according to the passing of time, unlike in the original 828 incident, and b) he doesn't seem surprised to see his mother dying. But then, why is he so secret about what he has experienced in those years? My theory/the closest thing to an explanation he gives is that he was in the Divine Knowledge light all that time, and legitimately he doesn't really know how to put that in words. But then again, such an extreme experience would leave anyone with major mental illness/instability issues. If I have to find a minus in this super captivating series, is that in the later seasons action took too much over character development and analysis. Like 50% of season 5 revolves around Cal, and still we don't have a clear idea about what is going on in his inner world. Is it bad writing, or exactly the effect the writers desired to give us?

@@russdon4458 yeah was thinking about the same thing he was wearing a normal black jacket and he came back with his uniform but there was no co-pilot with him, and he said to dr Fiona see you in 2024. So I guess the one who just arrived is neither Daly that returned nor Daly from the original 828 flight.

Spoiler alert, the doctor was never cameback because she failed to recast in season 3.

Yes, i would love if Manifest unfold the story Beverly became Dementia or the darker truth behind her fake dementia. My simple opinion is, Beverly was the first manifest character to have the calling before everyone else in 828 including Zeke. Her action towards the calling leave catastrophic consequences including her death date or death of her daughter. Imagine that, if Beverly knew the calling was evil, this was her moment to crash everyone 828 especially Mick to revenge for her daughter. Unfortunately Beverly looks like she knew Zeke was escape the death date and try to save Mick, maybe Beverly plan is to break Zeke marriage life and Mick will meet her demise. Who knows 🎃

They all messed up the callings, yes, but it wasn't their fault. And calling Olive a brat? Really? Olive was super kind to Angelina but what did Angelina do? Try to steal Olive's life, her relationship with Mum, Grace and Eden her sister, and even tried to kiss her love interest. Then you just blew my mind by saying You are happy Grace died! Wow! After Angelina kidnapped Eden! That's messed up and total bull shit.

She only got callings when she was pregnant with Eden though right? I dont remember her getting i volved in anymore callings once Eden was born

Grace is the reason most people lost interest in the series 3rd season. Unnecessary screen time and her monotonous acting killed the main story line.

That’s interesting and remember when all of the passengers were being questioned at the airport, Cal found the pilot and asked for “wings”. The pilot said his wings had been clipped. Cal then said “thx for bringing us home”. When the pilot and that lady (who I don’t trust) went into the lightning, when Ben and Mick got home there was a box at the door addressed to Ben for Cal…. Pilot Wings! It’s all connected 😊

I think Cal felt remorse because he listened to Angelina and ran away from home to go after the tail fin. He and Angelina made a big deal that Angelina was his “right hand man”. In the end it’s like she betrayed him like Judas. Just like Jesus, Cal knew about the betrayal. He just found out maybe a little later. That’s why he said, “I know what we need to do now” in the end.

I think is that they were all somehow involved in some dark lighting The flight while on air got through one as the pilot tried to prove Zeke while he was in the cave Tha criminal probably got involved in the lighting too and then disappeared and reappeared like all the others And the drugs dealers if I remember correctly also got involved in some dark lighting while in that frozen lake
